Lama Brian Hilliard

Lama Brian Hilliard is a Master Sound Healer, Buddhist practitioner and musician. He co-founded AKI Sound Studio in Brussels with Shannon van Staden. The studio houses Europe's largest collection of Crystal Tones® Alchemy™ Crystal Singing Bowls and offers certified trainings, private consultations and immersive sound experiences.

He completed the traditional 3-year Tibetan Vajrayana retreat and has spent decades blending meditation, mantra and vibrational healing. According to his Insight Timer teacher page, he received profound instructions and empowerments, directly and in person, from Tibetan teachers including Trungpa Rinpoche, Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche and Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche. He teaches the basics of meditation from a lifetime of spiritual practice, and is inspired by Milarepa's teaching that the phenomenal world is all the books one needs.

As a recording musician, Brian weaves alchemy crystal bowls, traditional instruments and the sounds of nature into sonic landscapes. He has co-designed The Power of Sound Healing Trainings, which bring together meditation, mantra and visualization to explore the meeting point of sound and spiritual awakening. Through trainings, workshops and sound journeys, he invites people into the resonance of transformation. His own description of his focus these days is beauty, simplicity and harmonising crystal sound.
