Healing Waves

Healing Waves is the wellness brand of Sefy, who created it to offer holistic and natural methods for achieving optimal wellness. Its work spans digital meditation music, audio courses, wall art, and a blog covering meditation, self-empowerment, meditation music and yoga.

Sefy says the path began with the mind-body connection. After a personal journey of healing, Sefy became passionate about natural ways to improve overall well-being, discovering what meditation and mindfulness can do for both mind and body, and how much a community can support someone's wellness journey. Building Healing Waves, in Sefy's words, was how those waves were found, and the commitment now is to help others find theirs.

The brand's origin story goes back to Malapascua island in the Philippines, where Sefy was staying with a friend when Super Typhoon Yolanda struck. Sefy describes a morning of fear, destruction, and then a moment of connection with a woman sitting at the entrance of her ruined store. She met Sefy's eyes with a smile, and Sefy came away with the sense that we are all family. Healing Waves, Sefy writes, was born deep in the subconscious from that day, and it took years to understand and shape the vision.

Listeners have responded to the music directly. One, Simon Kormendy, wrote that a Tuvan throat-singing piece put him in a good mood all day and felt like an intense musical healing experience.
