The retreat is separate from the New Zealand Yoga & Hiking Retreat that Travis Eliot also leads in Queenstown. This one is the yoga retreat he teaches together with Lauren Eckstrom.

About Travis Eliot

Travis Eliot is a yoga teacher, meditation teacher, kirtan musician, certified Ayurveda practitioner and author, and co-founder and co-CEO of Inner Dimension. He is a Yoga Alliance-certified E-RYT 500 instructor. In Los Angeles he teaches his signature Holistic Yoga Flow and Chi Warrior Flow classes, and he leads workshops and retreats around the world. His style is dynamic, and his videos have reached students in more than 85 countries.

Travis was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. His mother introduced him to meditation when he was nine, and he spent hours with cassette tapes and books on spirituality. He also fell in love with cinema, worked at TV stations in high school, and went on to East Carolina University. After college he worked on commercials, television and film in Wilmington before moving to Hollywood.

The Setting

Queenstown sits in the Otago region of New Zealand's South Island. Practising here means taking your yoga away from home and into a landscape very different from the studio, which suits a retreat built around time away.
