Thresholds of Power and Healing

Thresholds of Power and Healing is a shamanic gathering at the EarthSpirit Centre in Compton Dundon, in the Somerset Levels of England. It suits people drawn to shamanic work who want to spend time in a residential setting devoted to this kind of practice, away from daily routine.

The Setting

EarthSpirit Centre sits in the Somerset countryside, and it has a long record of hosting shamanic courses, drumming groups and training circles alongside yoga, breathwork and ceremony. Groups here often spend their free time walking the surrounding fields or resting. Others travel out to the sacred sites of Glastonbury, such as the Tor, Chalice Well and the White Spring.

The centre has two houses. The Main Centre is the larger of the two. Little Earth is a self-contained eco centre with single, twin and triple rooms, all ensuite, and a large, light yoga space. Which building a given gathering uses depends on the group.

Meals are vegetarian and cooked with fresh produce grown on site where possible. Dietary requirements can be catered for, so mention yours when you reserve your place.

Getting There

Before You Go

Because this is a residential gathering, expect to share the house with others and to eat together.
