Beschreibung
The Samudra Experience for New Year's is a week-long meditation and slow living retreat at Samudra Retreats Gozo, in Il-Qala on the island of Gozo, Malta. It is the signature Samudra Experience retreat, offered as a special edition for the turn into 2027, and it is led by the Samudra team.
What to Expect
The week follows Samudra's Slow Living and Life Reset programme. It is built for people who want to step away from a fast year, rest, and begin the next one with more space and intention. The retreat runs for six nights, from an afternoon arrival on the first day to a late-morning departure on the last, so the new year arrives in the middle of the stay rather than at the edge of it.
The Setting
The retreat takes place at Samudra Retreats Gozo, run by Samudra Community Ltd, on Triq Il Fortin in Sant Anton, Il-Qala. Gozo is the quieter, more rural sister island of Malta, and the retreat's home in Il-Qala places the week in a small-island setting rather than a city.
Before You Go
Arrival is on the afternoon of the first day, and departure is the following week in the late morning. Samudra also runs the same Slow Living and Life Reset retreat as a seven-day format at other times of year, so this New Year edition is the one to look for if you want to spend the turn of the year on Gozo.
