Power Retrieval & the Middle World (In Person and Live Stream)

Power Retrieval & the Middle World is a shamanic gathering led by Isa Gucciardi at the Sacred Stream Center in Berkeley, California. It is offered both in person and by live stream, so people can take part in the room or from home. It suits those drawn to shamanic work, and to the teaching of a school devoted to consciousness studies.

Format

The event runs in two forms: attending in person at the Sacred Stream Center, or joining live online. Beyond that, the schedule, session times and daily rhythm are not described here, so this page makes no claims about them.

About Isa Gucciardi

Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D., is the Founding Director of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream, a non-profit school for consciousness studies in Berkeley, California, founded in 2002. She is the creator of Depth Hypnosis, a therapeutic model, and the author of Coming to Peace.

Her path into this work began early. She spent most of her early years in other countries before moving to the United States as a teenager, and she was struck by how little people around her wanted to talk about death. Reading Elisabeth Kübler-Ross's On Death and Dying in the early seventies came as a relief. Years of volunteering in hospice settings, including the Zen Hospice Project, led her to a view she still holds: everyone grieves in their own way, and the most helpful thing is often to sit quietly and offer a non-judgmental space.

The Place

The Sacred Stream Center is in Berkeley, California, the home of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream, the school Isa Gucciardi founded. Those who cannot travel to the East Bay can join through the live stream.
