Beschreibung

The Labor Coalition Table is an online gathering for union members to discuss healthcare policy and political strategy from an organized labor perspective. Its starting point is simple: universal healthcare is pro worker. The conversation is led by and for union members, and it takes place over Zoom.

The table is organized by Health Care is a Human Right, a community-labor coalition of which Whole Washington is a proud member. It is an open meeting, so anyone interested is welcome, and members are encouraged to bring a friend or colleague, especially one who belongs to a union.

What to Expect

The session runs from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. It is part of the HCHR Labor Table Monthly Meeting series, so the same conversation returns each month for people who want to keep following the work. The focus is discussion: healthcare policy, how it affects working people, and the political strategy that organized labor can bring to the cause.

Because the space is shaped by union members, the perspective is that of the workplace and the bargaining table rather than a general policy seminar.

Before You Go

Attendance is free of any prerequisite beyond interest in the subject, and you do not need to be a union member to take part, though the space is designed with members in mind. The meeting happens online, so you can join from wherever you are.

To attend, RSVP through the registration form and you will receive the Zoom link. If the embedded form does not load or work for any reason, the organizer provides a direct registration link as an alternative.
