Mantra Recording Artist
Siri Sadhana Kaur is a Kundalini Yoga trainer of teachers, a mantra recording artist and a dancer. She loves to embody the sacred through movement, melody and rhythm, and that love led her to record an eclectic mix of eight mantra albums. She teaches courses, classes and workshops in London, across the UK and online, and offers one-to-one and group singing lessons.
Her ethos and practice invite people to experience themselves as joyful instruments of expression and transformation. She brings together the body's innate intelligence and the healing power and wisdom of the voice, helping others discover their own personal style and path.
Siri's background is in theatre. She trained as a performer with the movement master Jacques Lecoq in Paris and collaborated in both classical and innovative ensembles, while training in interpersonal and therapeutic expression. For 20 years she worked closely with the late Sobonfu Somé, daughter and elder of the Dagara tribe of West Africa, and together they established the ritual healing village training, teaching indigenous technology.
She went on to co-found The Kundalini Yoga Mobile Studio in central London. She organises Level 1 and Level 2 KRI Aquarian teacher training with the Karam Kriya School. With gratitude to her spiritual teacher Shiv Charan Singh, she shares her music, the teachings of Kundalini Yoga and indigenous technology, drawing on ceremony to consciously awaken the true light of the soul.
Worth Knowing
Siri Sadhana Kaur is a London-based Kundalini Yoga trainer of teachers, mantra recording artist and dancer whose work brings together sung mantra, embodied movement and teacher training. Her background is in theatre, and she trained as a performer with the movement master Jacques Lecoq in Paris before turning to Kundalini Yoga. Her mantra recordings, which her bio describes as eight albums, treat the voice as a healing instrument rather than a stage display. She co-founded The Kundalini Yoga Mobile Studio in central London and organises Level 1 and Level 2 KRI Aquarian teacher training with the Karam Kriya School. For about twenty years she worked closely with the late Sobonfu Somé, daughter and elder of the Dagara, on ritual healing training that brought indigenous technology into her teaching. Listeners and students follow her because few Kundalini teachers combine mantra, Lecoq-trained physical expression and West African ritual practice in one body of work.
