Dr. Leandra Brady-Walker is a chiropractor, medical intuitive, writer and teacher, and the founder of Structure of Grace. This healing modality brings together chiropractic philosophy, Tamil Shaiva Siddha tradition and biofield science. She is based in Tavira, Portugal.
Her work centers women practitioners of the global majority. It asks what happens in the body when we stop being nice, and what becomes possible when we let ourselves be unlikeable. She sees "nice" as a survival strategy rather than a virtue, and she looks at what it costs the body to keep it up. Her writing and speaking sit at the intersection of embodiment, postcolonial thought and the politics of women's likability. She uses the term "Resisting Empire" for the colonial, patriarchal and capitalist conditioning that trains women into self-erasure. Beyond critique, she is interested in the structural and somatic work of building a new way of living in one's own body and voice.
Leandra works one to one with female practitioners through her Structure of Grace practice. She also teaches other practitioners to work with the modality directly. She speaks on panels, podcasts and keynotes about embodiment, women's anger, postcolonial identity and somatic healing. She also writes weekly essays on Substack.
Her forthcoming memoir, I Don't See Colour: Everything My Body Learned to Hide, traces what it means to carry both the coloniser and the colonised within one body. It blends personal memoir, postcolonial theory, Tamil Siddha cosmology and somatic framework. Her Insight Timer teacher page describes her as open-hearted and curious, with studies in nutrition, medical astrology, intuition and consciousness. It also calls her a humorous, engaging storyteller who brings the sacred to the mundane.
