Harnam

Harnam is a kirtan artist, musician and Kundalini Yoga teacher. He describes himself as an artist, musician and yogi. Originally from California, he says his creative and spiritual perspective is rooted in a powerful connection with nature. That shows in the authentic quality of his music, where he often blends genres and pushes boundaries.

"My goal is to create music that is deeply resonant with my own soul and universally accessible to seekers looking to connect with the deepest parts of themselves," he says. LA Yoga Magazine wrote that his "earthy guitar and lower register vocals are often reminiscent of Eddie Veder." Mirabai Ceiba called him "the rising Bob Dylan of Kirtan."

His recordings include A Fearless Heart, All Roads, Awakening Your Creative Fire and Removing Obstacles, along with the single Wah Yantee (Alt Mix), which sets ancient mantra to sweet harmonies and lush production. He tours internationally, performing and teaching at festivals and yoga studios. He also offers private yoga, art and guitar instruction. His YouTube channel carries live performances, recordings, yoga classes and meditation.

Harnam is also a painter, known as Tony Zatzick. He has lived, worked and exhibited in Europe and the Americas. He received a BA in Painting from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1989, studied at the New York Studio School, and earned an MFA from Western Connecticut State University, where he was awarded the Master of Fine Art award in 2004. His work has been featured by outlets including LA Yoga Magazine, Spirit Voyage Radio, the New World Kirtan Podcast and In the Spirit Radio WRPI NY.
