Aliza Kelly

Aliza Kelly (pronounced uh-LEE-zuh) is a New York-based professional astrologer, author and media personality. She describes her practice as modern, tropical astrology, with most charts calculated in Placidus. She also draws on tarot, spellwork, psychic channeling, manifestation and numerology. Her approach is immersive and time-honored, and also fun, relatable and accessible. She often describes astrology as a person's "cosmic fingerprint."

She began studying astrology in 2013 and developed her signature approach with the mentorship of Annabel Gat and Anne Ortelee. In 2014 she co-founded an astrology dating app, which operated until 2016. By early 2017 she was a full-time professional astrologer. She has worked with thousands of private clients, and her site names Drew Barrymore, Keke Palmer, Yara Shahidi and Jonathan Van Ness among the public figures she has worked with. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Cosmopolitan, The Today Show and People Magazine. She is a columnist for The Cut and Marie Claire, and Meta recognized her as one of its "Creators of Tomorrow."

She is the author of five bestselling books, including This Is Your Destiny and It's All Magic, which bring astrology, manifestation and tarot into accessible practice. Her podcast AstroloTea offers weekly horoscopes and tarot pulls. It also looks at birth charts and the astrology behind pop culture. She also teaches through self-guided classes on the Sun, Moon and Rising signs, as well as foundations such as the planets, houses and signs.

In 2019 she founded the Constellation Club, a private virtual and in-person community for exploring astrology, magic, spirituality and spell-work. She has also led retreats and day gatherings, including Lunar Lodge retreats that began in California's High Desert in 2022. They combine birth chart work, tarot, ritual and time in nature. Her philosophy of TANC, "There Are No Coincidences," invites people to read their life experiences as a symbolic language. Her stated mission is to help people connect with their inner truth, embrace evolution and find magic in personal empowerment.
