Emanuel Kuntzelman

Emanuel Kuntzelman is an entrepreneur, writer, philosopher, philanthropist and activist for social transformation. He began his adult life travelling for years in search of his spiritual purpose, seeking out mentors across Europe and the United States, including time on the island of Formentera with the philosopher and entrepreneur Ronimund von Bissing. He worked as an editor and writer for Reader's Digest before finding his right livelihood in cultural exchange, and he went on to found and manage exchange organizations in Spain, the U.S. and the U.K. Madrid has been his primary residence for most of the last forty years.

He founded Greenheart International in 1985 and co-founded Fundación por el Futuro in Madrid, where he has been President since 1995. He is the founding co-creator of the Global Purpose Movement and Purpose Earth, and a member of the Evolutionary Leaders Circle. He has also led spiritual and leadership retreats, including in Ibiza and Pacific Grove, California.

His current work is developing the theory of the Holomovement, a social movement influenced by physicist David Bohm that awakens us to our interconnectedness and calls for collaborative action serving the good of the whole. He is co-editor of the anthologies Purpose Rising (2017) and The Holomovement: Embracing Our Collective Purpose to Unite Humanity (2023), and writes articles and a regular blog on purposeful and peaceful social action.
