Men's Tipi Ceremony – PachaMama, Costa Rica

The Men's Tipi Ceremony is a two-day ceremony for men at PachaMama Eco Village & Retreat Center in Nicoya, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The ceremony takes place over two days. The gathering is held at PachaMama, where tipi ceremonies appear alongside other offerings that the center groups under its Red Road ceremonies. The tone throughout PachaMama's ceremonial work is communal, the language of family and of coming together.

Because this is a ceremony and not a workshop, the emphasis is on presence and participation. Come ready to take part with others instead of watching from the side.

The Setting

PachaMama is an eco village and retreat center set in the tropical forest of Guanacaste, near Nicoya. The land includes a jungle reserve with riverbanks, and the center hosts meditation retreats, body cleanse programs, emotional healing workshops, yoga workshops, Red Road ceremonies and musical journeys through much of the year. That mix of practices gives the place a quiet, devoted atmosphere, and a ceremony here sits among people who have come for inner work.

PachaMama closes its doors in September and October, during Costa Rica's rainy season, so ceremonies are held in the other months of the year.
