Acerca de Este Evento

Descripción

Spring Break is a weekend yoga retreat at Ratna Ling Retreat Center in Cazadero, California, led by Martin Scott. It is open to anyone who wants a few days of breath, movement and rest among the coastal redwoods of Northern California, with a focus on pranayama, asana and yoga nidra.

What to Expect

The weekend is built around the season. Martin Scott draws on the elements of spring, using a combination of breath-work and movement to channel energy, create heat, and explore yoga. Everything is designed to ignite light and creativity.

Each day includes:

- Morning pranayama and meditations
- Asana classes
- Two yoga nidra sessions over the course of the weekend

The pairing of energizing breath and movement with deep guided rest gives the days a natural rhythm, with effort and release balanced against each other.

About Martin Scott

Martin Scott leads this yoga retreat at Ratna Ling. His teaching here centers on pranayama, meditation, asana and yoga nidra, woven together around the themes of spring, warmth and creative energy.

The Setting

Ratna Ling Retreat Center sits in the redwood country near Cazadero, in Sonoma County on the Northern California coast. It is a retreat home run by a volunteer organization, and its programs invite people to step away from daily demands and reconnect with themselves, with nature and with the community that gathers there. The quiet of the place is a large part of what the retreats offer.

Ratna Ling also supports a scholarship fund for retreat guests and a Tibetan book preservation project, both of which are sustained in part by donations and by the retreats held on the grounds.
