Somatic Nervous System Reset Retreat in Bali

The Somatic Nervous System Reset Retreat is a seven-day wellness retreat at HUOMN, a somatic retreat center in Sukawati, Bali, near Ubud. It is for people who want to work with the body directly: somatic techniques that allow the body to release and transmute emotional energy blockages, and breathwork used to ease traumatic stress responses. It is not a psychological or cognitive-therapy retreat, and each week is limited to 14 guests.

What to Expect

The 7-Day Renewal runs Sunday to Saturday. Arrival is on Sunday, with check-in from 2:00 PM and an orientation at 5:00 PM. Guests are asked to arrive by 4:30 PM so the group can begin together. A BOLT Score measurement is taken on the first day and again on day seven, giving a simple point of comparison between the start and the close of the week.

Each day includes breathwork, somatic sessions and yoga. The week ends on Saturday with the second BOLT Score measurement and a closing. The small group size keeps the setting quiet and the attention personal.

Optional Balinese massage, energy cleansing and sound healing can be added to the week for those who want them.

The Setting

The retreat takes place at the HUOMN center in Sukawati, about 40 minutes from Ubud and about 60 minutes from Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS). Accommodation at the center is part of the program, and all meals are prepared by the in-house chef, so there is nothing to organize once you arrive.

Airport transfers are not included, so plan your transport to Sukawati before you travel.

Before You Go

Accommodation, all chef-prepared meals, daily breathwork, daily somatic sessions and yoga, and both BOLT Score measurements are included. Balinese massage, energy cleansing and sound healing are optional add-ons and are paid for separately.

HUOMN is not medical or psychological care and is not a substitute for it. If you are managing a health condition or are in treatment, it is worth considering how this retreat fits alongside your existing support.
