Question 1

How is the Lizzie Lasater & Judith Hanson Lasater retreat different from Judith's solo week?

Accepted Answer

Feathered Pipe's 2027 schedule lists two separate Judith Hanson Lasater programs: a solo week and a joint week with her daughter Lizzie, which comes right after it. The joint retreat is the one where Lizzie and Judith teach together. The source page doesn't detail the daily curriculum, so check the retreat's own listing for specifics.

Question 2

Which yoga styles can I expect at a Feathered Pipe retreat like this one?

Accepted Answer

The ranch hosts a wide range of approaches, including Iyengar, restorative, vinyasa, yoga therapy, yoga nidra and meditation. The page doesn't say which of these Lizzie and Judith will teach in their week. Look at the program description once it's posted to confirm the focus.

Question 3

When does registration open for the 2027 Lizzie and Judith Lasater retreat?

Accepted Answer

Registration opens on Monday, 26 October. The organizer offers an email sign-up for people who want notification before it opens. Since summer retreats at the ranch can fill up, signing up for that early notice is worthwhile.

Question 4

Where is the retreat held and what is the setting like?

Accepted Answer

It takes place at Feathered Pipe Ranch near Helena, Montana, which describes itself as a retreat center in the heart of Big Sky country surrounded by pristine nature. Expect a remote ranch setting rather than a city studio. The source page doesn't give directions or transport details, so confirm those with the ranch.

Question 5

Can I combine this retreat with another week at the ranch?

Accepted Answer

The schedule runs weeks back to back, and Judith Hanson Lasater's solo week ends just before the joint week with Lizzie begins. That makes it possible to look at attending both, though the page doesn't mention any combined booking or discount. Ask the ranch directly about back-to-back stays and availability.

Question 6

Who is this retreat likely to suit, and who might prefer something else?

Accepted Answer

Feathered Pipe says its programs suit every style and level of experience, so the setting isn't limited to advanced practitioners. Because this week is built around the Lasaters' teaching, it will likely appeal most to people drawn to their approach. If you want a theme like bhakti, shamanism or a digital-free week, other weeks on the 2027 calendar, such as Mindful Unplug, may fit better.
