Acerca de Este Evento

Descripción

Honour Winter Solstice from the Temple of Light is an online winter solstice ceremony led by Durga and Gauri. It is held on the longest night of the year, and anyone can take part from home, wherever they live.

The ceremony takes its name and setting from the Temple of Light, and it marks the solstice as a turning point in the season. It sits within a calendar of online offerings from an ashram-based yoga community, which also includes hatha classes, dream exploration, a restorative retreat and teachings with several swamis. If you are looking for a solstice ceremony you can join online, with a yoga-rooted community behind it, this is a fitting place to begin.

Leading the Ceremony

Durga and Gauri guide the evening together. Durga also appears elsewhere in the same program, co-teaching a session on expanding awareness in daily life with Swami Padmananda.
