Formula 8 Ecstatic Spirit Flight - The Congress of Heaven and Earth with Andrew Jan - Berlin

This advanced Taoist inner alchemy workshop in Berlin is devoted entirely to Universal Healing Tao Formula 8, Ecstatic Spirit Flight: The Congress of Heaven and Earth. It is a five-day spiritual retreat for dedicated students of meditation, qigong and Taoist internal practice, led by Andrew Jan, PhD, a senior Universal Healing Tao instructor and author.

What to Expect

The whole workshop stays with a single formula, so there is time to spend far longer within each of the Nine Cauldrons than a shorter training allows. Participants explore the qualities, insights and changes associated with every stage of the path. It begins with the grounding wisdom of the Earth Cauldron. From there it moves through the awakening of the spiritual body and the wide perspectives of the Solar System Cauldron. It then turns to the cultivation of True Yang in the North Celestial Pole and True Yin in the South Celestial Pole.

These celestial forces are brought together in the Final Cauldron, which opens the gateway to ecstatic flight and a deeper exploration of the inner heavens. Safe navigation, grounding and return receive particular emphasis. The Qilin, the mythical creature long associated with wisdom, harmony and auspicious return, serves as a symbol for carrying these experiences back into everyday life.

The aim is both a passage through unusual states of consciousness and a practical, grounded framework for bringing what is found in Heaven and Earth back into the human world.

About Andrew Jan

Andrew Jan is a Taoist teacher of Tai Chi, Qigong and internal alchemy based in Margaret River, Western Australia. He is a Senior Instructor and Branch Leader for Internal Alchemy within the Universal Healing Tao system, and Global Leader of its Internal Martial Arts division. His teacher page describes more than three decades of teaching Taoist arts, and he is the author of five books on Taoist philosophy and practice.

He has trained in Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Bagua Zhang and Xing Yi Quan for many decades and has taught internal martial arts in Australia and internationally. He was the 1984 Full Contact All Styles Lightweight Champion, and in 2000 he became Australian National Tai Chi Wushu Champion Over 40, placing first in the Wu Style, Yang Style and Weapons divisions. Students describe his teaching as clear, patient and rooted in deep experience.

This is an advanced workshop, so it suits people who already have a foundation in Universal Healing Tao or similar Taoist meditation and qigong practice. Andrew Jan also offers private mentorship for students working at intermediate and advanced levels.
