7-Day Renewal

The 7-Day Renewal is a somatic healing retreat at HUOMN, a retreat center in Sukawati, Bali, near Ubud. It is built for people who want to work with the body directly: using somatic techniques to release and transmute emotional energy blockages, and breathwork to ease traumatic stress responses. Think of it as a nervous system reset retreat in Bali, kept deliberately small, with no more than 14 guests each week.

It is not a psychological or cognitive-therapy retreat. The work happens through the body and the breath rather than through talking things through.

What to Expect

The program runs Sunday to Saturday, seven days in all. Arrival is on Sunday: check-in opens at 2:00 PM, and orientation begins at 5:00 PM, so guests should arrive by 4:30 PM.

Each day includes breathwork, somatic sessions and yoga. On the first day and again on the seventh, your BOLT Score is measured, a simple breathing test that gives you a point of comparison between the start and the end of the week.

For those who want more, there are optional add-ons: Balinese massage, energy cleansing and sound healing. These are extra to the core program.

The Setting

HUOMN Retreat Center is in Sukawati, about 40 minutes from Ubud and about 60 minutes from Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS). Accommodation and all chef-prepared meals are part of the stay, so there is nothing to organize once you arrive. Airport transfers are not included, so plan your transport in advance.

Before You Go

The price covers accommodation, all chef-prepared meals, daily breathwork, somatic sessions and yoga, and the BOLT Score measurements on day 1 and day 7. Prices are set in Indonesian rupiah and vary by room.

Payment is by bank transfer only. You can pay either a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the balance due on arrival, or the full amount. Full payment is required within 7 days of arrival.

HUOMN is clear about its limits: it is not medical or psychological care and is not a substitute for it. If you are under treatment for a health condition, consider that when deciding whether the retreat is right for you.

HUOMN also offers The Immersion, a separate oceanfront healing program on Sumba in East Sumba, Indonesia. It centers on traditional healing and work with traditional medicine people, in groups of no more than four. It is a different program from the 7-Day Renewal in Bali.
