[0:00] Welcome to power yoga for strength and
[0:03] flexibility. In this class, I'm going to
[0:06] guide you through a full body workout.
[0:08] [music]
[0:09] My name is Travis Eliot, founder of
[0:11] Inner Dimension Yoga, and let's [music]
[0:13] begin.
[0:21] All right, welcome to power yoga for
[0:23] strength and flexibility. Let's go ahead
[0:26] and begin in child's pose, bringing
[0:28] [music] the big toes together, opening
[0:30] the knees out towards the edges of the
[0:32] mat.
[0:33] >> [music]
[0:33] >> And as you draw the hips back onto the
[0:35] heels, reach the arms forward, and then
[0:38] allow the forehead to begin to [music]
[0:40] draw down towards either your mat or
[0:43] yoga block.
[0:46] As you begin to allow the events of your
[0:49] day to dissolve away.
[0:54] And for these next 30 minutes or so,
[0:57] just taking this time
[1:00] taking this time to take care of the
[1:02] body.
[1:05] Taking this time to take [music] care of
[1:07] you.
[1:10] And any intentions that you want to set
[1:12] for your practice today, any qualities
[1:15] you want to strengthen or reinforce.
[1:20] As the stoic Seneca said, if one does
[1:23] not know to which port one is sailing,
[1:26] no wind is favorable.
[1:30] So, which port
[1:32] do you wish to sail towards?
[1:36] Which quality or intention
[1:39] do you wish to nourish and strengthen?
[1:51] And then now we begin to layer in the
[1:53] foundation of the breath as you start to
[1:56] move that Ujjayi breath
[1:59] steadily in and out through the nose.
[2:04] Each and every inhale breathing down to
[2:06] the bottoms of the lungs and each and
[2:09] every exhale pressing the air all the
[2:11] way back out of the body and keeping
[2:14] that until we get to that [music] last
[2:16] final resting pose.
[2:19] And if at any point in this class you
[2:21] ever want to take a break or take
[2:23] multiple breaks, you can come back here
[2:25] to child's pose. It's always here for
[2:27] you if you [music] want it.
[2:30] So, breathe in deep and breathe in free.
[2:32] Let's go ahead and start to set sail
[2:35] [music] together today by coming all the
[2:37] way up to all fours tabletop position.
[2:39] [music]
[2:42] And then from here we'll lift the left
[2:44] leg off the ground parallel to the
[2:46] floor, extend the right arm straight out
[2:49] in front of you.
[2:51] Take an inhale there to stretch those
[2:53] limbs out away from each other.
[2:56] And then elbow to knee exhale curl in.
[3:00] Inhale reach it out.
[3:03] Exhale round it in.
[3:06] Inhale pull out long.
[3:08] Exhale ignite the core strong.
[3:12] Inhale reach out.
[3:15] And then tabletop set everything down
[3:18] and then switch sides. So, lift that
[3:19] right leg up.
[3:21] Extend that left arm straight out in
[3:23] front making sure your right hip is on
[3:26] the same level as your left hip.
[3:29] Take an inhale pull out [music] there.
[3:32] Elbow to knee exhale curl in.
[3:36] Inhale expand it.
[3:38] Exhale contract it.
[3:41] Inhale reach it.
[3:44] Exhale curl it.
[3:47] Inhale pull out.
[3:49] And then tabletop set everything down.
[3:53] Good. Now, go ahead and step back to
[3:55] plank pose, upper push-up position.
[3:59] And then [music] lift the right hand up
[4:00] to the left shoulder as you inhale, tap.
[4:03] And then set it down on the mat, exhale.
[4:05] Other side.
[4:07] Left hand, right shoulder, inhale. Set
[4:09] it down, exhale.
[4:11] And then chaturanga, inhale, lower
[4:13] halfway.
[4:15] Exhale, push-up, plank, exhale.
[4:18] Take an inhale there.
[4:20] >> [music]
[4:21] >> And then exhale, lower slow, all the way
[4:23] down onto your belly.
[4:25] And then cobra, first cobra of the
[4:27] class, take it nice and easy, what we
[4:29] call a baby cobra.
[4:32] And then downward-facing dog, tuck the
[4:34] toes.
[4:36] And pull that tailbone all the way up
[4:39] and back as you take a first [music]
[4:41] few breaths or so here in
[4:43] downward-facing dog, and you can check
[4:45] inventory.
[4:47] See how your body's doing today. Some
[4:49] days we roll out the mat,
[4:52] energy levels are strong, body feels
[4:55] strong.
[4:57] And other days we feel more sluggish or
[4:59] tired, so the beauty of the practice is
[5:03] how adjustable it is to what
[5:06] what you're feeling.
[5:08] In each pose, you can intensify it
[5:12] or you [music] can make it more gentle.
[5:13] So, adjust accordingly.
[5:16] Now, with the hands on the ground,
[5:18] little bit wider than the shoulders,
[5:21] take a good buy and hold, stretch back
[5:23] in that downward-facing dog.
[5:26] And then as you exhale, go ahead and
[5:28] bring the feet all the way forward to
[5:31] the top of the mat.
[5:33] And then flat back as you inhale,
[5:36] decompress.
[5:39] Forward fold, exhale, head down.
[5:43] On your inhale, we're going to rise and
[5:45] reach both arms up, interlace all the
[5:48] fingers except the indexes.
[5:51] And then side bend over to the right as
[5:54] you exhale.
[5:56] Inhale back to center.
[5:59] And then exhale lean over to the left.
[6:04] Inhale to middle.
[6:05] >> [music]
[6:06] >> And then W arms as you exhale. Let's
[6:09] hold here. Take a couple breaths, start
[6:11] to lean back a little bit
[6:14] as you draw the shoulder blades towards
[6:16] each other and you spread across the
[6:18] chest.
[6:20] Both arms up above you as you inhale
[6:23] reach.
[6:25] And then forward fold, exhale dive and
[6:28] release.
[6:30] >> [music]
[6:31] >> Flat back as you inhale.
[6:34] Step back to [music] plank, pause there
[6:37] as you exhale. Right hand, left
[6:39] shoulder, inhale tap.
[6:41] Exhale down on the mat.
[6:43] Inhale left hand, right shoulder.
[6:46] Exhale set it down.
[6:48] Chaturanga inhale.
[6:51] Push up exhale.
[6:53] Hold for the inhale.
[6:55] And then lower down slow exhale.
[6:58] Cobra on the inhale as you snake that
[7:01] body through the backward bend.
[7:04] And then exhale back to [music] downward
[7:07] facing dog.
[7:10] So now we'll take that and we'll just
[7:12] start to find a little bit more rhythm
[7:14] here, just building the energy, getting
[7:16] deeper into things.
[7:18] So a little bit like a a first warm-up
[7:21] series stroll here.
[7:24] Inner hands strong, outer shoulders
[7:25] wrapping back. Take an inhale, drive
[7:28] back through your hips.
[7:31] And then as you exhale, both feet all
[7:33] the way forward.
[7:35] Flat back inhale.
[7:38] Forward fold exhale.
[7:41] Inhale rise and sweep both arms up back
[7:44] to that steeple index is up.
[7:47] Side bend over to the right for that
[7:49] flexible spine.
[7:51] Inhale come up to middle.
[7:54] And exhale lean to the left.
[7:58] Inhale to middle.
[8:00] And then W arms on the exhale open up.
[8:05] Inhale both arms come back up.
[8:08] And then exhale forward fold kind of
[8:10] like a moving meditation.
[8:14] Flat back inhale stretch it out.
[8:18] Step back to plank [music] pause there.
[8:20] Right hand left shoulder inhale.
[8:23] Set it down exhale.
[8:25] Other side inhale.
[8:28] Set it down exhale.
[8:30] Chaturanga inhale.
[8:32] Push up exhale. Hold for the inhale
[8:36] strong core.
[8:38] Exhale lower down slow to the mat.
[8:42] Inhale cobra with fluidity and finesse.
[8:47] And exhale down dog with that awareness.
[8:52] So in some level more important than
[8:54] what you do is how you do what you do.
[8:57] It's the awareness more than anything
[9:00] that turns these physical poses and
[9:03] movements into yoga.
[9:05] Let's flow through one more round of
[9:07] those. Inhale stretch back.
[9:10] And exhale both feet forward top of the
[9:13] mat.
[9:15] Flat back inhale.
[9:17] Fold in exhale.
[9:20] Inhale rise and sweep both arms up to
[9:24] steeple.
[9:25] Side bend finding the strength and the
[9:28] flexibility.
[9:30] Inhale back up rise.
[9:33] Exhale other side.
[9:36] Inhale middle.
[9:38] Exhale [music] dove your arms, open that
[9:41] chest.
[9:42] Inhale arms come up.
[9:45] And then exhale forward [music] fold,
[9:47] melt down.
[9:49] Flat back, inhale.
[9:52] And then back to plank, hold there. Last
[9:55] time [music] we'll do this, right hand
[9:56] left shoulder, inhale.
[9:58] Set it down, exhale.
[10:00] Other side, inhale.
[10:02] Place it down, exhale. Chaturanga inhale
[10:06] levitate.
[10:08] Exhale.
[10:09] Back to plank. Inhale you pause. Exhale
[10:13] as you lower down, belly lifts towards
[10:15] [music] the front of the spine.
[10:17] Inhale we call it Uddiyana Bandha, the
[10:20] belly lock.
[10:22] And exhale, you got it, down dog.
[10:25] That warm-up series stroll is now in the
[10:29] rearview mirror.
[10:32] Moving on from here. Inhale stretch
[10:34] back, sink in.
[10:37] And exhale, both feet forward.
[10:40] Flat [music] back, inhale.
[10:43] Fold, exhale. Let's bend those knees,
[10:46] let's squat those [music] hips back.
[10:48] And let's come into our first chair
[10:50] pose. Heavy in the heels,
[10:53] light in the toes,
[10:55] arms reaching up.
[10:59] Good. Now from here, we're going to lean
[11:01] into that right foot, right leg,
[11:02] challenging the balance. See if you can
[11:04] do this without holding your breath,
[11:06] start to lift your left leg up.
[11:10] And then extend your left leg straight
[11:13] out in front of you, flexing that front
[11:15] left foot.
[11:17] Then take an inhale, lift that left leg
[11:20] up a little higher.
[11:22] And then airplane, glide that left leg
[11:25] back. [music]
[11:26] Use your arms to spread out
[11:30] to help you balance. [music]
[11:32] Bottom leg strong.
[11:35] Take a good by inhale to fly high.
[11:39] Exhale [music] both hands to the ground.
[11:41] Left leg stays up in the sky.
[11:44] >> [music]
[11:45] >> Standing splits.
[11:47] Couple breaths there as you lift that
[11:49] left leg up to your own sweet degree.
[11:54] So even in the most difficult of yoga
[11:56] poses, there should always be at least a
[11:58] little bit of sweetness there.
[11:59] Otherwise, you've probably gone too far,
[12:02] too deep.
[12:04] Take a big inhale, lift that left leg up
[12:06] a little more.
[12:08] And then lunge the left toes all the way
[12:10] to the back of your yoga mat, high
[12:12] lunge.
[12:14] From here, lean into your left hand.
[12:17] Swim the right arm up as you inhale.
[12:21] And then [music] bending the right
[12:22] elbow, drop it down inner right foot and
[12:25] leg exhale. So you get into the hip.
[12:28] Inhale, open and spread.
[12:31] And exhale, drop it down.
[12:35] Good inhale, reach it up.
[12:38] And then exhale, drop it down.
[12:41] Now this time, reach that right arm up
[12:43] to the sky.
[12:45] And then drop the right hand down on the
[12:47] outside of your right foot on the floor.
[12:50] We're going to spin the back left foot
[12:53] flat.
[12:54] And then we're going to lean into the
[12:56] right hand. I'm going to come up onto my
[12:57] fingertips. You could also place a block
[12:59] underneath your hand if you want. As we
[13:02] now maneuver our way into side angle. So
[13:04] left arm
[13:06] straight up to the sky, outer blade
[13:09] of that back left foot seals solid into
[13:13] the mat.
[13:14] Open up the left chest as you inhale.
[13:16] >> [music]
[13:17] >> And then extend that left arm forward
[13:19] and out for extended side angle.
[13:23] Now see if you can roll the left ribs
[13:25] open to the sky
[13:27] as you [music] roll the bottom right
[13:29] ribs underneath and in
[13:31] and find that sharp diagonal from the
[13:33] outer left foot all the way through the
[13:35] left fingertips.
[13:38] Give that one last little reach
[13:40] and that left [music] arm comes up.
[13:42] We're going to rise up now to stand
[13:45] in the warrior [music] two pose.
[13:49] Right thigh definitely getting some
[13:50] engagement here.
[13:52] Breathing deep, breathing free. See if
[13:55] you can sit [music] down a little bit
[13:56] lower. Last inhale there.
[13:59] And then exhale straighten that right
[14:01] knee, right leg.
[14:03] Now turn the right foot in parallel to
[14:05] the left so you're facing the left side
[14:07] of your mat.
[14:08] Flick your heels in, point the toes out.
[14:11] Horse stance, bend your knees, squat
[14:13] back.
[14:15] And then bring your hands behind your
[14:17] head and your neck.
[14:19] From here, left elbow to left eye,
[14:21] inhale lean over.
[14:23] And then exhale back up. Other side.
[14:27] >> [music]
[14:27] >> Inhale lean right.
[14:29] Exhale back up.
[14:31] Inhale left.
[14:33] Exhale up.
[14:35] Inhale right.
[14:37] Exhale up. One more round. Inhale
[14:40] hitting those side abdominals. Exhale
[14:43] back up.
[14:45] Inhale right.
[14:46] >> [music]
[14:46] >> Exhale back up. Now spread those arms
[14:49] out wide.
[14:50] Rotate the palms up. Lift those arms
[14:53] overhead. Take a last final good bye
[14:56] inhale. Sit [music] down a little
[14:58] deeper.
[14:59] >> [snorts]
[14:59] >> And exhale straighten the legs.
[15:02] Feet parallel. Spread those arms wide.
[15:06] Go ahead and turn the right toes back
[15:08] forward towards the top of the mat.
[15:11] And we'll come back to the warrior two.
[15:15] Good. Now take the right arm and bring
[15:17] it underneath
[15:19] and around that left arm so you come
[15:22] into eagle shoulders.
[15:24] If that's not happening, you can do the
[15:26] one-arm variation, left arm reaching out
[15:28] to the right, and you hug that in with
[15:30] the belly of your right forearm.
[15:33] >> [snorts]
[15:33] >> Keeping those arms as is, pop your right
[15:36] heel off the ground as you inhale,
[15:38] and lower the right heel down, exhale.
[15:40] Two more.
[15:42] Inhale, lift the heel.
[15:44] Exhale, drop it.
[15:46] Inhale, lift it.
[15:49] And exhale, drop it. Good. Now, take a
[15:51] good bind held air,
[15:53] and then exhale, let those arms float
[15:56] down and out.
[15:58] Straighten the right knee, right [music]
[16:00] leg, slide the back foot in a little bit
[16:02] closer.
[16:03] And then from here,
[16:05] triangle pose. [music] So, right hand
[16:07] comes down wherever it feels right, left
[16:09] arm
[16:11] up [music] to the sky.
[16:13] Now, this class is about strength, but
[16:15] it's also [music] about flexibility. So,
[16:18] take that left hand and either bring it
[16:20] to your lower back, or you can reach
[16:23] around,
[16:25] and you can grab onto your inner right
[16:27] thigh.
[16:29] And then you want to create and
[16:30] cultivate a little bit more length to
[16:32] the torso, so you're pulling your
[16:34] sternum forward away from your sacrum.
[16:38] And then you're rolling that left chest
[16:40] open.
[16:42] And then finally, the cherry on top is
[16:44] to take the bottom right arm
[16:47] and extend that forward and out with the
[16:49] right palm facing the sky, the breath
[16:51] and the flow and the mind and that yoga
[16:54] zone.
[16:55] Breathe.
[16:57] Good. Now, right hand comes down.
[17:00] Take that left arm, reach it back up to
[17:02] the sky, back [music] to triangle pose.
[17:06] And then from here, warrior two.
[17:09] Rise all the way up. [music]
[17:12] And then reverse warrior, inhale, come
[17:14] back.
[17:15] And then exhale, windmill both hands
[17:18] down to the ground. Pause there.
[17:21] Pivot onto your back left toes, high
[17:23] lunge. Bring your left foot forward
[17:26] about a foot or so, straighten that
[17:28] right knee, right leg
[17:30] for the pyramid pose.
[17:32] >> [snorts]
[17:33] >> Take an inhale. Pull the spine up and
[17:35] out. You can always take two blocks
[17:37] underneath your hands here if you want.
[17:40] And then exhale, just fold your torso
[17:42] right on top of that right leg and feel
[17:44] that stretch
[17:47] across the whole back of that right leg.
[17:52] Keep breathing with a rhythm.
[17:55] Remember that intention you set at the
[17:57] beginning of your practice, your flow
[17:59] here.
[18:00] >> [music]
[18:01] >> As we continue on from here, you're
[18:03] going to lean into your five left
[18:05] fingertips. If you have a block, you may
[18:07] want to grab that. And then we'll take
[18:09] that [music] right arm now and we'll
[18:11] reach it all the way up to the sky
[18:13] coming into twisting triangle pose.
[18:18] So, never one right way to do [music]
[18:20] the pose. As many people on the planet
[18:22] as we have or as many ways you could see
[18:24] any yoga pose being expressed because we
[18:27] all have different anatomies,
[18:30] physiologies, [music]
[18:31] histories,
[18:33] and a whole other multitude
[18:36] of factors and variables
[18:39] that are contributing to what's
[18:40] appropriate for us right here, right
[18:43] now. So, you find the variation that
[18:45] works for you.
[18:47] One last inhale, open up and deepen
[18:49] [music] in.
[18:51] And then exhale, right hand comes down.
[18:54] Good. Now start to bend that right
[18:55] [music] knee.
[18:56] Shift forward, lift that left leg off
[18:59] the ground parallel to the floor.
[19:01] >> [music]
[19:01] >> And now we'll add a little bit of
[19:04] balance with the twist.
[19:06] So, twisting half moon. How's your
[19:08] breath?
[19:10] Charge back to that left leg.
[19:13] Pull out through that chest.
[19:15] Roll that right chest. Roll that right
[19:18] shoulder open.
[19:20] Keep breathing deep, breathing free. One
[19:23] last inhale. Open sesame.
[19:27] Exhale right hand down. Left leg still
[19:30] lifted. [music] Standing splits.
[19:32] Take one inhale. Lift that leg a little
[19:35] high.
[19:36] Lunge it to the back of the mat.
[19:39] >> [music]
[19:39] >> Step the right foot back to plank. Pivot
[19:43] onto the outer blade of that right foot.
[19:45] Side plank leaning into your strong
[19:48] right arm.
[19:49] Then take the left leg to tree variation
[19:53] of side plank. So, the sole of the left
[19:55] foot high up to the inner right thigh.
[19:58] Left arm's going to reach forward.
[20:01] Little bend in the elbow and the
[20:02] shoulder.
[20:04] Left ribs, left waist lift a little
[20:07] higher to accentuate that side body
[20:09] strength.
[20:12] Good. Now, left arm up inhale.
[20:15] >> [music]
[20:15] >> Left hand comes down. Keep the left leg
[20:18] in tree for tree push-ups. Inhale
[20:21] halfway. Exhale push-up. Two more.
[20:25] >> [music]
[20:25] >> Inhale down.
[20:27] Exhale up. One more.
[20:29] Inhale.
[20:31] Exhale. [music] Good. Left leg back to
[20:33] plank inhale.
[20:34] Chaturanga exhale.
[20:37] Cobra up dog inhale.
[20:40] And then you got it. Down dog exhale.
[20:44] Take a big inhale through the nose.
[20:48] And then out the mouth exhale. Let it
[20:51] go.
[20:53] Good. Inhale stretch back.
[20:56] Exhale both feet top of the mat.
[20:59] We got ourselves a sweet little power
[21:01] yoga strength and stretch flow. Flat
[21:03] back inhale.
[21:06] Forward fold exhale. Bend those knees.
[21:09] >> [music]
[21:09] >> Squat back.
[21:11] Arms to the sky.
[21:13] This time,
[21:15] shift your weight into that left foot.
[21:18] Lift that right leg up.
[21:20] And then extend that right leg straight
[21:22] out in front of you.
[21:24] And those of you that have been
[21:25] following following my classes for a
[21:27] while, you know
[21:29] we pack a lot in in a short period of
[21:31] time. This is like a 60-minute class
[21:34] in a 30-minute format. Take one last
[21:37] inhale there.
[21:39] And then right leg comes back.
[21:41] Airplane, but it [music] should still
[21:44] never feel rushed or manic.
[21:47] There should be that undertone
[21:49] of calmness within.
[21:51] >> [snorts]
[21:52] >> From here, one more inhale for levity
[21:54] and lightness.
[21:57] Exhale, hands down.
[21:59] Right leg stays up. Standing splits.
[22:04] Feel the stretch across the back of the
[22:06] left leg.
[22:08] Feel the stretch across the front of the
[22:10] right leg.
[22:11] Take an inhale, lift that right leg up a
[22:13] little higher if you like.
[22:16] And then lunge the right toes to the
[22:18] back of the mat.
[22:20] Lean into the right hand. [music]
[22:23] Cruise the left arm up, inhale.
[22:26] Bend the elbow, drop it low, inner left
[22:28] leg, exhale.
[22:30] Inhale up.
[22:32] Exhale down.
[22:35] Inhale high.
[22:37] Exhale low.
[22:40] Inhale left arm [music] up. Left hand
[22:43] outside of left foot. Back foot spins
[22:46] flat.
[22:48] Lean into those five left fingertips.
[22:51] Swim that right arm up. Side angle,
[22:55] Parsvakonasa. [music]
[22:57] With the outer foot strong, roll the
[23:00] right chest open.
[23:01] And then extend that right arm
[23:04] forward and out sealing that [music]
[23:06] connection
[23:08] from the outer blade of the right foot
[23:10] all the way through the fingertips.
[23:12] One last little reach [snorts]
[23:15] and then rise up
[23:17] warrior two pose. Boom.
[23:21] Take an inhale. Goodbye.
[23:23] Sit down low.
[23:25] And then exhale straighten that left
[23:27] leg, turn [music] the left foot in,
[23:29] flick the heels in.
[23:30] Bend those knees.
[23:32] Hands behind the head and neck.
[23:35] This time we lean right inhale.
[23:38] Middle exhale.
[23:41] Inhale left.
[23:42] >> [snorts]
[23:43] >> Exhale middle.
[23:45] Inhale right.
[23:46] Exhale middle.
[23:48] Inhale left.
[23:50] Exhale middle. Last round inhale.
[23:54] Exhale. [music]
[23:56] Inhale.
[23:58] Exhale. Good. Both [music] arms come
[24:00] out. Lift those arms up overhead. Squat
[24:03] a little deeper inhale.
[24:04] >> [music]
[24:05] >> Straighten those legs. Kick those heels
[24:07] out. Arms wide.
[24:09] Left toes spin forward.
[24:11] Warrior two.
[24:14] Now we come into the eagle arms here. So
[24:16] this is where we bring that left arm
[24:18] underneath
[24:20] and around that right arm or
[24:22] >> [music]
[24:22] >> you do the one arm variation. So you
[24:25] make it work for you.
[24:27] With those arms there, pop that left
[24:29] heel up inhale.
[24:31] Place it down exhale.
[24:33] Inhale lift it.
[24:36] Exhale lower it.
[24:38] Inhale.
[24:39] Exhale. Hold for the inhale.
[24:42] >> [music]
[24:42] >> And then warrior two exhale.
[24:45] Straighten that left knee left leg.
[24:47] Scoot that back foot in a little bit.
[24:50] Inhale reach out through that front left
[24:52] arm.
[24:54] And then triangle pose.
[24:56] Left hand comes down, right [music] arm
[24:58] up.
[25:00] Double-check the breath.
[25:03] As you start to rotate [music]
[25:04] the right palm behind you, bring that
[25:06] hand either to the low back or reach
[25:09] around
[25:10] >> [music]
[25:10] >> and grab your inner thigh.
[25:13] Pulling the heart forward, rolling the
[25:15] right chest open,
[25:16] >> [music]
[25:17] >> and then extending and reaching that
[25:19] left arm all the way.
[25:27] One last inhale there.
[25:30] Exhale, left hand comes down. Nice, you
[25:32] guys. Right arm up to the sky.
[25:35] Bend that knee, warrior two.
[25:38] Reverse the warrior, inhale.
[25:40] >> [music]
[25:40] >> And then windmill those hands down to
[25:43] the ground, pause.
[25:45] >> [music]
[25:45] >> Pivot on back toes, bring that back foot
[25:47] forward a foot.
[25:49] Pyramid pose. Inhale, pull the chest up
[25:52] and out.
[25:54] And exhale, fold out over top that left
[25:57] leg.
[25:59] Couple breaths there.
[26:10] All right, setting up for twisting
[26:12] [music] triangle pose.
[26:14] Use your block here if it's helpful.
[26:17] Take that left arm to the sky. Hips are
[26:20] in a neutral rotation.
[26:23] Back right heel firmly plants down into
[26:26] the mat.
[26:28] Top of the left eye draws back
[26:31] while your spine [music] extends forward
[26:33] and the left chest rolls open, and you
[26:35] bring your gaze wherever it feels right.
[26:41] One last inhale.
[26:43] Exhale, left [music] hand comes down,
[26:45] shift forward, lift that right leg up.
[26:48] Hip [music] still in a neutral rotation.
[26:51] And left arm comes up.
[26:54] Twisting half moon par vita [music]
[26:57] ardha chandrasana.
[27:08] >> [music]
[27:09] >> One last inhale, find the peak.
[27:12] >> [snorts]
[27:12] >> Exhale, left hand comes down, right leg
[27:15] stays up. One inhale, lift it up.
[27:18] Exhale, lunge the right toes back.
[27:22] Come back to plank, feet together.
[27:25] Spin onto the outer edge of the left
[27:27] foot, right arm up to the sky. [music]
[27:31] And then tree variation.
[27:34] Sole of the right foot high to the inner
[27:36] thigh.
[27:37] Right arm forward.
[27:39] Little bend in the elbow, the shoulder.
[27:43] Pull up through that right waist.
[27:46] Breathe.
[27:48] Good, right arm up, inhale.
[27:50] Set it down, exhale. Keep the tree leg.
[27:54] Here we go, tree push-ups, inhale.
[27:56] Rise, exhale.
[27:59] Inhale.
[28:00] Exhale, [music] one more.
[28:02] Inhale.
[28:04] Exhale, right leg back, plank.
[28:07] Exhale, lower vinyasa.
[28:11] Inhale, chest is wide.
[28:14] Exhale, [music] you made it.
[28:17] I made it.
[28:18] We made it. Downward facing dog.
[28:25] Big inhale, stretch it back.
[28:29] Exhale, release the knees down onto the
[28:31] mat.
[28:33] Crawl the knees forward.
[28:35] Cross the feet behind you.
[28:38] Let's extend the right leg out, and
[28:40] we'll sneak in a
[28:42] little hip stretch here. So, left ankle
[28:44] on top of the right knee.
[28:46] And then bend the right foot
[28:48] underneath the left knee, double seated
[28:50] pigeon.
[28:52] You can always modify this. Just cross
[28:54] the left shin right in front of the
[28:55] right shin.
[28:57] And then just fold
[29:00] over and down.
[29:02] Uh at the end of a nice strong practice
[29:06] nothing better than that blend of
[29:08] strength
[29:10] and flexibility.
[29:14] Slow the breath down.
[29:17] And bring the mind back to that place of
[29:20] inner quiet
[29:22] and inner stillness.
[29:24] >> [snorts]
[29:37] >> Good. And then we'll do the same thing
[29:38] now on the other side. So, this time
[29:41] right ankle on top of that left knee.
[29:44] And then bend the left foot to come
[29:46] underneath that
[29:48] that right knee, right thigh. And just
[29:50] fold over and down.
[30:04] Every day I can get onto my yoga mat is
[30:06] a [music] good day.
[30:08] It just seems that the more dedicated
[30:11] and committed I am to my yoga practice,
[30:14] [music] the more that it elevates every
[30:16] other aspect of my life.
[30:19] My career, my relationships,
[30:22] just reminding me
[30:25] to walk the path of purpose and [snorts]
[30:28] meaning.
[30:30] Every day to keep growing and every day
[30:33] to keep [music] giving, to be of service
[30:35] to others. What it's all about.
[30:38] Go ahead and come all the way back up.
[30:40] Come to a comfortable seat.
[30:44] Bring the hands to prayer position in
[30:46] front of the chest. Just feeling that
[30:47] gratitude for your practice today.
[30:53] Take a final deep inhale through the
[30:55] nose. [snorts]
[30:58] And then out the mouth, exhale, let it
[31:01] go.
