yogaview Chicago

yogaview is a yoga studio with two locations, in Chicago and Wilmette. It was created in 2002 by cofounders Quinn Kearney and Tom Quinn, who wanted a welcoming space where yoga could be accessible to everyone. What began as a single studio has grown into two, and for over 20 years it has been part of the Chicago yoga community.

The studio's focus is intelligent vinyasa yoga, built on alignment, breath and mindfulness. Its approach combines traditional yoga wisdom with a modern understanding of body mechanics and movement science. Classes run from gentle restorative to challenging power flows, with specialized offerings such as prenatal, Pilates mat and somatic breathwork. They are open to all levels, and students can practice in person or in virtual classes, live or recorded.

For people new to yoga, yogaview offers a small-group introduction course, Level 1 classes and gentle classes. Beyond the regular schedule, it holds workshops and teacher trainings meant to develop knowledgeable, approachable instructors, and it offers bodywork and space rental.

yogaview describes its instructors as diverse, creative and friendly. It also gives back through donation-based classes, charity events and partnerships with local organizations, including Chicago Public Schools and children's hospitals.
