Wayne Muller

Wayne Muller is an executive leadership mentor, therapist, minister, community advocate, consultant, public speaker and bestselling author of several books. A graduate of Harvard Divinity School, he has spent thirty-five years working with people facing abuse, alcoholism, poverty, illness and loss. His work centers on spiritual direction that cultivates spaciousness.

As a private mentor and spiritual director, Wayne works with a select few individuals and small groups who are facing change or transition in their life or work. He offers his time, care and attention to help them clarify their inner sense of meaning and purpose, and to find together the emerging threads that can guide them to their new, evolving destiny. Mentoring includes custom-tailored retreats in Santa Fe, New Mexico, for individuals or for groups of friends, family members or colleagues. These retreats are made of unhurried days and follow-up sessions.

Wayne is the founder of Bread for the Journey, a network of ordinary people who practice grassroots, neighborhood philanthropy through micro-grants. He is co-founder of the Institute of the Southwest. He has served as Senior Scholar at the Fetzer Institute and is Extended Faculty at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, which gave him its Temple Award for Creative Altruism. He also consults with community organizations, educational institutions and healthcare corporations, and speaks as a keynote speaker.
