Noel | Absolute Awareness

Noel is a nonduality teacher and author based in Costa Rica, who shares his work under the name Absolute Awareness. His focus is integrated nonduality in daily life: pointing, with love and compassion, to what he calls What Is. On his YouTube channel he describes words as dualistic but used as pointers, and he invites people to look for nothing, in the present moment, where they always are.

He describes himself as extremely grateful for "his" awakening, and has given back by guiding others in Self Realization, seeing what has been all along. His About page opens with a line from Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, "All happiness comes from awareness," and notes that many authors and speakers all point to one thing. He signs off with "Chopping wood and carrying water."

Noel is the author of Absolute Awareness: Integrated Nonduality in Daily Life, a companion for the seeker already on the path. It draws on real conversations with people from around the world, and offers no system to follow and nothing to believe, only a quiet pointing to what is already here. He also co-founded Nothing Media with his friend Emerson and produced the Nothing Conference with him.

Noel no longer actively speaks or writes about nonduality. He says the interest in communicating about it has faded, in favor of observing, breathing and playing the character, and that it may arise again. For questions, he points people to Emerson of Non-Duality Live, who continues the work through his channel and one-on-one sessions.
