Bodhi Setchko

Bodhi Starwater Setchko knew at fourteen that the silver flute would be his lifelong companion, after hearing Paul Horn play flute in the Taj Mahal. Over the years he has added many instruments to his orchestra, including exotic flutes from around the world, conch shell, charango, 12-string guitar, Tibetan bowls, feathers, harmonica, gong, drums and rattles.

He has worked with sound meditation, sound healing and sacred sound journeys for over 40 years, and has studied with Tito La Rosa, Paul Horn, Allaudin Mathieu and many other artists. He offers group and private sound healing journeys for concerts, festivals, yoga classes, meditation groups, retreats and conferences. His music is used in yoga studios, health spas and practitioners' offices around the world, and has had millions of plays on Pandora, Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming sites.

A deep love of the natural world runs through his work. He spent many years as a wilderness and river guide, and developed his own style of improvisation within the healing music modalities by playing his flute in the forest, inspired by the sounds of nature. He has been a featured artist at many festivals and conferences around the world, including the International Conference on Shamanism.

Bodhi has 18 original albums and founded the touring and recording ensembles Sonic Transfusion, Crystal Wind and Rhythm Matrix. Two of his albums, Deep Dream (2020) and Trans Ukraine (2006), reached #1 for flute albums on the Zone Music Reporter International New Age Music Chart. In 2021 he created the Soundscape Oasis, a sound healing temple sanctuary in Mt. Shasta, California.
