BrightStar serves as the altar where these offerings are made, a space where the energy of giving and receiving flows harmoniously and with respect.
This exchange is not merely transactional. It is an act of reciprocity, where the seeker’s contribution honors the giver’s work. We keep this exchange pure, transparent, and balanced, ensuring that both the giver and receiver are held in reverence.
BrightStar charges a straightforward fee of $0.89 per ticket sold, plus 1.85% of the total ticket price. This simple structure ensures that you can focus on your event while we manage the logistics, keeping costs minimal and the process clear.
Our payment processor, Stripe, applies a fee to the entire transaction. To cover these costs, BrightStar collects $0.40 + 3.05% on top of the ticket price, ensuring the process is smooth and transparent for both you and your ticket buyers.
If you’re offering free tickets, we waive all fees, making it easier for you to share your work without the burden of extra costs.
In most cases, the ticket buyer covers the BrightStar and Stripe fees. This allows you to receive the full value of your offering, while the buyer understands the flow of the exchange.
The entire process is automated, with all fees calculated and deducted at the time of purchase, so you can focus on what matters most—your event and your mission.
