When do I get paid for my ticket sales?

BrightStar does not interact with event revenue streams. All ticket proceeds are deposited directly into your Stripe account.

What is Stripe? Can I use Paypal or another payment gateway?

Stripe provides tools and infrastructure for businesses to accept online payments and manage their digital commerce operations. Stripe is BrightStar’s preferred and exclusive payment processing partner.

Are there any monthly or hidden fees?

No. All fees are automatically collected at the time of purchase.

What is BrightStar’s fee?

BrightStar’s fee is $0.89 + 1.85% per ticket, which most of our organizers pass on to their customers by adding it to the ticket price. Fees are not charged for free tickets.

Will I have access to my customer data?

Yes. You will have the ability to access and export all submitted data, including name, email, mobile number, and mailing address.

What if I have to cancel my event?

You will always have the ability to cancel your event and issue all refunds with the click of a button.

What is your refund policy?

BrightStar’s Terms of Service outline that refunds are not permitted unless the event is canceled. However, the event organizer may make an exception at their own discretion and will have the ability to directly issue partial or full refunds on a case-by-case basis.

Can I sell tickets to my online event through BrightStar?

Yes! Simply include your livestream URL and the link will be delivered to ticket buyers.
