Descrição

Deep Rest: Yoga Nidra Live from Sedona is a three-session series of Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR), a guided yoga nidra practice offered live online with therapeutic yoga instructor Trish Hart, who works between Boston and Sedona, Arizona. It is for anyone who wants to put down the pace of the day and simply rest, whether you are new to guided relaxation or already practice meditation.

The invitation is plain: lie down, get cozy, and bring a pillow and blanket. The series is spread across three months, so rest becomes something you return to rather than a one-off.

What to Expect

Each session is a guided yoga nidra practice, also called Non-Sleep Deep Rest. You stay on your back, supported and warm, while Trish leads you through the practice. There is nothing to perform and nowhere to go. The three gatherings are spaced about a month apart, which gives you time to notice how deep rest settles into the weeks in between.

The sessions are part of Trish's wider offerings built around rest, recharge and reconnection, which include retreats, in-person gatherings and online experiences. This series is the online route into that work, reaching you wherever you are, with the teaching coming live from Sedona.

About Trish Hart

Trish Hart is the founder of Hart Mind Body, working between Boston and Sedona. She is a therapeutic yoga instructor, stress management and mindfulness educator, sound therapist and nature-infused retreat leader. She is also Senior Program Manager of the Thich Nhat Center for Mindfulness in Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Her path began in business and healthcare, in auditing and consulting at Deloitte and in administration and finance at Massachusetts General Hospital and Beth Israel Hospital. In 2012 a marathon injury left her choosing between surgery and an integrative mind body program. She chose the program, and it changed her career. She went on to study at the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine, where she is a certified facilitator of Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART).

Before You Go

Set up a quiet, comfortable spot where you can lie down undisturbed. Bring a pillow and a blanket so you can settle in fully, and consider dimming the lights or taking a few minutes beforehand to arrive. No prior yoga or meditation experience is needed to rest in a practice like this.
