This will be our first event as Beit Ahavah, the House of Love, our local group for loving and present Jewish holiday events in Nevada County! Over the course of our evening we will experience prayers, intentions, songs, dances, tea ceremony, apples & honey, and of course, the sounding of the shofar 🎶🐏🍯. We are envisioning abundance, joy, smiles, and laughter as we welcome in a beautiful 5787 (the new year in the Jewish calendar)!

The Jewish new year is seen as the birthday of the world 🌎 and takes place on the new moon 🌙 of the month of Tishrei, so is a strong time for intentions, prayers, and our hopes for the new year.

Dinner will be potluck style 🌿🥗🍞 and abundant as usual! Bring your yummies! Potluck sign ups will be shared closer to our event.

Please park in the parking lot when you arrive. 🚗✨

This will be our sixth year circling together for Rosh Hashanah, and each one has been such a blessing. I can’t wait to celebrate another sweet new beginning with all of you! 💖 This event is not profited on, and all ticket sales go to covering our venue rental as well as tables, plates, lighting, and silverware rentals. A percentage of our proceeds from the event will go to supporting Melina and Nicholas who have lost their precious Avery and supporting their beautiful lives.
