À propos de cet événement

Description

This yoga retreat in the Santa Fe high desert gathers practitioners of all levels for five days of yoga, pranayama, meditation and yoga nidra on a private ten-acre estate in New Mexico. It is led by Kacy Harnedy, a world-traveling yoga teacher who teaches under the name Kacy's Sacred Space and whose work centers on breath, meditation and emotional awareness. It suits anyone who wants a quiet, well-supported stretch of time to return to themselves, with good food, warm water and open desert around them.

What to Expect

Each day holds a mix of active and gentle practice: flow yoga, yin and restorative classes, meditation, breathwork and yoga nidra. Sound baths and cacao ceremonies appear now and then. The week opens with a welcome ceremony, where the group meets, and the pace stays unhurried so there is room to rest, walk, read on the porch or simply sit.

Kacy describes the retreat as a space of safety, trust and gentle guidance, a place to explore emotions and inspirations and to come back to yourself with compassion. Chanting, breath, movement and meditation are the main tools. A special guest teacher offers one session during the stay, and its details are shared with participants beforehand.

Beyond the mat, there is a perfumerie visit with perfume-making (paid per person), an optional tour of historic Santa Fe, plaza exploration, nature walks and bike rental in town. Massages can be arranged on site.

About Kacy Harnedy

Kacy Harnedy leads wellness and healing retreats around the world. Her specialty is pranayama and meditation, and her teaching is heavily rooted in both, offered to help people of all levels find inner and outer peace. She emphasizes personal empowerment and the strength to embrace emotional processing. A deep connection to nature led her into herbalism, and she now combines yogic tradition with plant medicine, which she sees as the true essence of Ahimsa. She also offers herbal and holistic consultations.

The Setting

The retreat takes place at a private Santa Fe estate in the Altazano area, ten acres with the comfort of a luxury home and the hospitality of a boutique inn. The property has an indoor heated pool, a tennis court, a sauna, a steam room and a jacuzzi, along with generous gathering spaces, mountain views and professional hotel-style housekeeping.

Meals are prepared by the onsite chef, Tracey: morning snacks, brunch and dinner, with an organic, plant-based focus. Teas, waters and local coffee are provided.

Two room types are offered, each with an ensuite bathroom:

- Double Queen Room: two queen beds.
- Single King Ensuite: a king bed in a private room.

Guests fly into Albuquerque International Airport (ABQ) and drive about 60 minutes by rental car to the estate. The lodge address is sent to participants after booking.
