Online Celtic Spirituality Gathering - Celebrating The Winter Solstice

Guided by Mary Meighan, founder of Celtic Journeys, live from Ireland - with songs & chants by Seán Johnson

(Time Zones: Pacific: 11am-1:30pm / Mountain: noon-2:30pm/ Central: 1-3:30pm/ Eastern: 2-4:30pm)

Celtic Spirituality is the indigenous spirituality of Ireland. It is a gentle, nature based way of being that invites us to live from our heart.

This soul-nourishing gathering will take place on the Winter Solstice-- an invitation from the earth to move into deeper stillness. The word Solstice means “sun standing still” or “grian-stad” in Irish. Our time together in this Celtic Gathering is a time to experience the vital energy of the darkness and to gather within the richness it offers us and sense the gift that The Winter Solstice is.

You're invited to experience the depth and inspiration of Celtic Spirituality and enter this still point with greater intention through a Celtic talk, Celtic rituals, music and chant, poetry, blessings, song and story that are in harmony with this time in the Celtic Calendar.

Whether you are someone who knows very little and is curious about how the living spiritual tradition of Celtic Spirituality can nourish our lives; someone who has always been inspired by the Celtic world; or someone who has ancestry from the Celtic world who wishes to deepen your connection to those roots-- all are welcome.
