Descripción
What if the deepest healing begins not in thinking, but in feeling—in the quiet conversation between your body, heart, and mind? MARROW is an invitation to come home to your own aliveness through a carefully woven day of somatic exploration, embodiment practice, and contemplative silence. Led by facilitator Sandrine Harris, this healing workshop at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY creates a sacred container for you to gently unwind habitual patterns, reconnect with your wholeness, and discover what emerges when you trade the exhaustion of doing for the richness of being.
In our culture of constant motion, many of us have lost touch with the wisdom held in our bodies. MARROW meets you there—in the gap between striving and presence—and offers a trauma-sensitive pathway back to yourself. Through Feldenkrais somatics, somatic experiencing, liberatory movement, guided meditation, and creative expression, you'll learn to sense and trust your own inner navigation. The day unfolds like a conversation: quiet body sensing, meaningful listening, forest immersion, personal writing, and gentle movement all weave together to help you remember what it feels like to be fully, presently alive.
This is not a performance or a lecture. This is your process, held with care and grounded in clinical somatic methodology.
What to Expect
You'll arrive at Omega's serene Rhinebeck campus and settle into a day structured around deepening presence across your whole self. The morning begins with gentle body awareness and Feldenkrais exploration—small, attentive movements that awaken sensation and ease habitual tension. From there, Sandrine guides you through somatic experiencing applications, restorative rest, and guided meditation, creating spacious moments for internal knowing. Liberatory movement invites you to express what words cannot. Forest immersion reconnects you with the larger aliveness around you. Creative mark-making (personal writing and artistic expression) allows your insights to land and be witnessed.
Throughout the day, the emphasis remains on quiet internal exploration rather than performance. You'll move at your own pace, listen to yourself with compassion, and gradually shift from the push of productivity into a deeper, more resourced way of inhabiting your body and life.
The day concludes with an evening of movement and a bonfire gathering—a collective completion and celebration of the journey you've shared.
