What if your most intimate relationships held the key to your deepest liberation? This immersive workshop invites you to explore the classical Tantric understanding of human suffering and transformation through the lens of partnership, sexuality, and authentic connection. Rather than viewing personal relationships as a distraction from spiritual practice, this teaching honors them as the most significant arena for inner work and awakening.
Held at the serene Satchidananda Ashram – Yogaville in Buckingham, Virginia, this workshop bridges ancient wisdom and lived experience. Over the course of Thursday, September 24, 2026, you'll learn to read the chakra system as both a diagnostic map of psychological patterns and a guide to untapped potential. Through integrated practice and contemplative teaching, you'll discover how identification and attachment create suffering—and how systematic Tantric sadhana can illuminate a path toward freedom, authenticity, and genuine intimacy.
This is not theoretical philosophy. Each session weaves together conceptual teaching with embodied practice, creating a bridge between what you understand intellectually and what you experience in your body, heart, and relationships.
What to Expect
This workshop combines conceptual teaching with integrated Tantric practice. You'll explore the chakra system as a mirror of relational patterns, learning to recognize where identification and attachment show up in your intimate life. The teaching draws on Laya Yoga methods, including bhuta shuddhi (elemental purification) and chakra sadhana (chakra-focused meditation), creating a container for real transformation.
Each session includes:
- Conceptual teaching on classical Tantric understanding of desire, attachment, and liberation
- Asana practice designed to open and balance the energy body
- Pranayama (breathwork) to refine vital energy
- Mantra and meditation to deepen awareness and inner stillness
- Integration time to explore how these teachings apply to your relationships
By day's end, you'll have concrete tools for recognizing patterns, practical methods for deepening presence with yourself and others, and a renewed understanding of why your relationships matter so deeply to your spiritual path.
