How to Edit or Replicate an Existing Event on BrightStar

As your event evolves — whether it’s a multi-day retreat, a conscious festival, a kirtan concert, or a community healing gathering — you may need to refine details or reuse a past event as a template. BrightStar makes this process simple, intuitive, and aligned with the ease and flow that define the conscious event space.

This guide shows you how to:

  • Edit an existing event
  • Update event information in real time
  • Replicate an event for future use
  • Navigate the Event Details dashboard
  • Optimize your workflow for recurring, annual, or multi-stop events

🖊️ How to Edit an Existing Event

Editing allows you to update essential details as your offering naturally unfolds.

Step-by-step:

  1. Log in to your BrightStar account.
  2. Click My Events in the main menu.
  3. Select the event you want to modify.
  4. You’ll land on the Event Details page.
  5. Click the Edit icon next to any section you want to update.

You can edit:

  • Event Basics (title, subtitle, presenter names)
  • When & Where (dates, times, venue, online session links)
  • About (event description)
  • Ticket Types and pricing
  • Optional Settings (public listing, email message, upsell events, discounts, and more)

Updates save automatically and appear immediately on your live event page.

Note: Certain fields become limited once tickets are sold, preserving clarity and minimizing attendee confusion.

🔁 How to Replicate an Event

For recurring programs — annual gatherings, seasonal retreats, year-round workshops, or multi-location tours — the Replicate Event feature creates a fresh starting point without rebuilding everything from scratch.

How to copy an existing event:

  1. From My Events, open the event you'd like to use as a template.
  2. Once inside the Event Details page, click the Options button in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Replicate Event.
  4. A new Draft event will be created with:
    • Title, descriptions, images
    • Dates (copied but fully editable)
    • Ticket types and pricing
    • Custom questions and event settings
    • Optional Settings (discounts, upsells, email messaging preferences)

This lets you preserve the essence of a previous event while updating only what’s needed — date, location, presenter lineup, or artwork — and publish when ready.

Tip: Replication is ideal for high-frequency organizers, touring artists, yoga teachers, kirtan musicians, retreat leaders, meditation guides, breathwork facilitators, and any organizer offering recurring conscious events.
