Sobre Este Evento

Descrição

Where Souls Exhale is an eight-day vinyasa flow yoga retreat at Haramara in La Yesca, Nayarit, Mexico, led by Jamie DeLuccio. It is made for people who want to slow down, rest, and reconnect with themselves in a small group, by the ocean and away from screens. No yoga experience is required.

Jamie is an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, shadow work practitioner and astrologer who has been guiding retreats for over twenty years. Her emphasis is on gentleness and belonging rather than self-improvement.

What to Expect

The week follows a simple daily rhythm. Mornings begin with intentional yoga practice, vinyasa flow combined with reflection and embodied awareness, so the practice works on the heart as much as the body. Yoga happens twice a day, and the second session is paired with group connection in the evening.

Afternoons are left open. People swim in the ocean, walk the jungle paths, journal in the shade, nap in a hammock, or do nothing at all. Evenings bring shared meals under the stars and conversation in a circle, where the group has room to talk about what is actually going on.

One group activity is planned during the week as a gift from Jamie. It is still to be confirmed, so the specifics will come closer to the retreat. Shadow work and astrology are woven into the facilitation alongside the movement, offered with curiosity and compassion rather than as something to fix.

About Jamie DeLuccio

Jamie DeLuccio is a retreat facilitator, E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, shadow work practitioner and astrologer with more than twenty years of teaching experience. Her approach rests on the belief that the body is a doorway to healing and that listening inwardly brings clarity. As a shadow work practitioner, she guides people to look at unconscious patterns, fears and protective habits with kindness. As an astrologer, she uses the birth chart as a map of gifts, challenges and potential for self-discovery. She is known for building community in her retreats, and for a mix of depth and playfulness that helps strangers settle in with one another.

The Setting

Haramara sits on twelve private acres where jungle meets ocean, in La Yesca, Nayarit. Accommodation is oceanfront and eco-luxury, with no electricity, and there is no WiFi, so the days follow the light and the sound of the waves. Open-air cabanas let in the ocean breeze, and jungle birds replace the alarm clock.

Three gourmet meals are served each day. Rooms are available as a dorm, quad, triple, double or single, so you can choose between sharing with others or having a room to yourself.

Before You Go

This retreat welcomes all levels, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. You do not need to have your life figured out, only a willingness to arrive as you are.

The retreat includes:

- Yoga twice daily and meaningful connection practices
- Three gourmet meals each day
- Oceanfront eco-luxury accommodation without electricity
- One group activity, details to be confirmed
- Open time for rest, swimming and exploring

Because there is no electricity and no WiFi, plan to unplug for the full eight days.
