Valentine's Tarot Nights - Alto by San Carlo at Selfridges, Birmingham

Valentine's Tarot Nights is an evening tarot gathering on the exclusive terrace at Alto, by San Carlo at Selfridges in Birmingham, England. It pairs short personal tarot readings from the Psychic Sisters team with live music, a manifestation talk from motivational speaker Josephine McGrail and a glass of Veuve Clicquot Champagne. It is open to everyone: single, dating, married or simply curious.

The terrace is set aside for one night only, and kept small on purpose. The evening is aimed at anyone who wants a light, atmospheric way to spend Valentine's season, whether they come for love, luck, friendship or the Champagne.

What to Expect

The evening runs from 6pm to 10pm. Guests are welcomed to their table and settle into an evening of mysticism and music. Each table is guided in turn to receive a personal five-minute tarot reading for every guest, then returns to the terrace to enjoy the live music, the atmosphere and the manifestation talk.

Entry is released in timed slots to keep the terrace intimate: 6:00 to 7:00pm, 7:00 to 8:00pm and 8:00 to 9:00pm, with eight places in each. The readings are mini readings, a short taste of tarot rather than a long private session.

About Josephine McGrail

Josephine McGrail is a wellness coach, transformational healer, speaker, author and yoga facilitator with over 20 years of experience. Her work sits where somatic healing, leadership coaching and energy alignment meet, helping high-achieving people and teams move from burnout toward balance and embodied clarity. She also supports people who are neurodivergent or have ADHD or Autism.

Originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, she trained as a ballerina at the Royal Danish Ballet and later at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London. For over a decade she worked globally as a dancer, actress and model. Alongside that career she was looking for a deeper connection to truth, healing and purpose, and that search led her to yoga, energy work, somatic therapy, shamanic healing and neurodiversity coaching. She trained with The Yoga People.

The Setting

The gathering takes place on the exclusive terrace area at Alto, by San Carlo at Selfridges in Birmingham. For this night the terrace becomes what the hosts call a celestial escape, intimate and strictly limited in numbers. A second evening of the same event is held at Fumo on Waterloo Street in Birmingham, but this Alto evening is held on the terrace only.

No experience with tarot is needed, and you do not need to be in a relationship. The ticket includes:

- a glass of Veuve Clicquot Brut Champagne

- live music throughout the evening
- a manifestation talk

Additional food and drink are not part of the ticket price. Guests are welcome to stay on to drink or dine through the evening.
