Sobre Este Evento

Descrição

The New Moon Ocean Retreat is a week-long yoga retreat in Costa Rica, led by Mandy Majewicz at Casas Kismet, a private retreat center in Nosara, Guanacaste. It is for practitioners who want a week of Vinyasa flow and Kundalini yoga, set by the Pacific coast and paced by the new moon and the tides.

What to Expect

The retreat runs seven nights and is built around reconnecting with breath, body and the rhythms of the earth. Mandy teaches dynamic Vinyasa flow alongside Kundalini practices, so the week moves between energizing movement and quieter breathwork and stillness. The new moon sets the tone: a time of release, reflection and beginning again, with the ocean as a constant presence.

Thai bodywork and sound healing are part of Mandy's approach to teaching, and they shape the character of the week. The emphasis throughout is on moving with intention, breathing with awareness and making room for inner stillness, on the mat and off it.

No daily schedule or session times are set out for the week, so expect the rhythm to be shaped by the teacher and the setting.

About Mandy Majewicz

Mandy Majewicz holds a 500-hour Yoga Alliance certification, along with several advanced 300-hour trainings. Her teaching draws on Vinyasa flow, Kundalini Yoga, Thai bodywork and sound healing. She is known for a grounded presence and an intuitive way of holding space for students exploring movement, breath and stillness.

Her path began on the jungle-lined shores of Mal Pais, Costa Rica, where she completed her first yoga teacher training. Leading a retreat in Costa Rica is a return to the place that first set her on this path, and she speaks of it as coming home.

The Setting

Casas Kismet describes itself as a private, intimate retreat center, and the group is small in scale. It sits on the Nosara coast of Guanacaste, on Costa Rica's Pacific side. The retreat is shaped by being outdoors, beneath open sky and close to the sea.

Before You Go

No required experience level or physical prerequisites are stated for this retreat. The practice combines flowing Vinyasa with Kundalini work, so it suits people comfortable with a regular yoga class who are curious about breath-centered and meditative practice. If you have questions about your own fit, the retreat center can answer them before you commit.
