Sobre Este Evento

Descrição

This yoga retreat at Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, is a week spent exploring change through the four elements: earth, air, fire, and water. Hosted by Leela Yoga Lifestyle of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, it suits anyone ready to step outside their ordinary routines and take time to rest, move, and see a corner of Guatemala, whether you arrive alone, with a partner, or with a friend.

What to Expect

The retreat runs seven nights, with the group sharing one home above the lake. Each element offers its own way into transition, release, resilience, and what comes next: earth beneath you, air moving across the water, fire rising from the volcanoes, water holding everything together.

Days begin with morning yoga. From there the week includes volcano hikes, lake swims, and boat rides, with plenty of unscheduled time to explore, rest, and take in Guatemala at your own pace.

The Setting

You stay in a local home overlooking Lake Atitlán and its volcanoes. It has a private hot tub, easy access to the lake, water toys, and views meant to settle the mind. The house holds up to 15 guests in a mix of private and shared rooms:

- Bunk room: four twin beds in one shared room, a good fit for solo travelers.
- Shared room: a king bed plus twin bunk beds, sleeping four. Guests choose either the king or a bunk.
- Private room for two: twin beds that can be pushed together to make a king.
- Private suite for two: a king bed and a private balcony, suited to a couple or close friends who want extra space.

Before You Go

Because the home is shared, think about which sleeping arrangement suits you best, and book the room type that matches how you like to rest. Rooms are priced per person, so solo travelers and pairs can each find a fit.
