Dreaming the Year Ahead

Dreaming the Year Ahead is a two-hour spiritual workshop in Seattle, Washington, for anyone who wants to begin the new year with clarity and intention. Led by author and healing arts practitioner Sharlean Windus at Spark & Spell, it combines a guided tarot and oracle card reading with the hands-on making of a Vision Altar. No experience with cards is needed.

What to Expect

The afternoon runs from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Pacific. You arrive to tea and a brief orientation, then settle in for a six-card year-ahead reading. The spread explores the themes, guidance, and growth waiting in the coming year, and it includes your personal Tarot Growth Cycle Archetype.

After the reading there is time to reflect on what came up. You then use those insights to build a Vision Altar, an intuitive, tactile take on the traditional vision board. The workshop closes with a review of each completed altar. The pace is unhurried and meant for reflecting, dreaming, and creating, with a cup of tea in hand.

The traditions at work are tarot, oracle card reading, and the intuitive arts.
