Carinne Leduc

Carinne Leduc is an award-winning actress, writer, director and photographer who works in English and French across Canada and internationally. She divides her time between Toronto and Montréal.

She created, wrote and stars in 11h11, an eight-part dramedy series for ICI Radio-Canada Télé about a tarot reader starting over, where the search for authenticity proves more complicated than expected. Her screen credits include The Handmaid's Tale, Murdoch Mysteries and District 31. Her performance in 3 Saisons, which she also co-wrote, earned Best Actress awards at the Whistler Film Festival and the Salento International Film Festival, along with a Genie Award nomination. Her voice work spans animated characters, global brands, narration and dubbing.

As a writer, she was selected for the TIFF Writers' Studio. Her directing includes short films, music videos and commercials. Her short documentary The Story Coat follows the death of Beatrice at 99 and asks where the stories of a life go when the body is gone. It was made by a friend for a friend who had lost a beloved friend. The film won multiple awards and aired on CBC.

On Insight Timer she describes herself as a filmmaker, a storyteller and a student of life who tries to bring playfulness and creativity to everything she does. She loves rain and finding magic in both the little and big moments. Away from set, she can be found cooking for a crowd, creating the next adventure, or at a friend's place on the other side of the world.
