Somewhere around 7:40 on the evening of October 15, 2026, Pacific time, Pluto reached the point where its backward drift across the zodiac stopped and its forward motion resumed. The planet was sitting at 3°04′ Aquarius, a degree it would hold for weeks, and for astrologers and contemplative practitioners alike, that moment was a hinge. Lisa Marie of Everything Is Energy devoted an entire episode to it, recorded after the station had already happened, and she built the conversation around a single question: what changes when we become conscious of our own power? It is a question that moves well beyond governments and technology, into the private stories people tell about themselves, the expectations they carry into relationships, and the choices they assume they do not have.

What does it mean when Pluto stations direct?

Pluto had been retrograde since May 6, when it stationed at 5°30′ Aquarius. Across those months its apparent movement carried it backward through a little more than two degrees of the zodiac. The word that carries the most weight in that sentence is "apparent." Pluto does not physically halt or reverse its orbit around the sun. Retrograde is a visual effect produced by the geometry of Earth's own faster orbit, which changes our viewing angle against the background stars.

"Pluto does not physically stop moving through space or reverse its orbit around the sun. The retrograde motion describes how its position appears to change to the human eye against the background of the stars." (Lisa Marie, Everything Is Energy podcast, 2026)

That distinction matters because it reframes what a station is. The station is the moment the apparent motion flips direction. Lisa Marie offers a vivid image for it: steering a large, heavy ship, where all the momentum that carried it one way has ceased, and the next momentum is about to build in the other direction. The turn itself is the transition, even if nothing dramatic appears on the surface.

Pluto's slowness is what makes this a long process rather than a single event. She notes that Pluto is now classed as a dwarf planet, with an orbit of roughly 248 years that is both elongated and tilted relative to Earth's orbital plane. Because it moves so slowly, its station unfolds over weeks. Faster inner planets reach the same degree and pass it quickly. Pluto lingers, which is why she describes the station energy as operational for a couple of weeks rather than something that resolves on a single day.

Why does a retrograde invite us to review our patterns?

Astrology is not an exact science in the way that orbital mechanics is, and Lisa Marie is careful to say so. She calls the framework "metaphorical astrological wisdom" and insists there is no requirement to arrive at clarity on any particular day. What she does offer is a practical habit: pause, look around, and notice what has been developing.

For Pluto, which in astrology is associated with transformation, depth, power and regeneration, the things being noticed are often the things that live below the surface of awareness. Fears, attachments and autopilot responses belong to that territory. So do capacities that have never been fully accessed. Retrograde periods, in her framing, are times to review and revise. We may suddenly see an old pattern as something internal, or return to an experience and understand it differently than we did at the time.

She suggests looking back to early May, when Pluto first turned retrograde, and asking what has occupied attention since then. The themes she names are authority, control, belonging and trust. She also points to older survival strategies that once protected a person but now narrow their options. A role someone holds in a community is a candidate for review. So is the discovery of how much energy goes into anticipating other people's reactions. These are examples, not a checklist, but they show the kind of honest inventory she has in mind.

What does it mean to be a "powerful creator"?

The thread running through the whole episode is a belief Lisa Marie describes as her own and offers "take it or leave it." It is that people are powerful creators, powerful "beyond measure, beyond our current comprehension," and active participants in creating their reality. That premise changes how a planetary event is read. If we are co-creators, then the patterns we notice are not simply weather that happens to us. They are structures we have participated in, and we may repeat them without realizing it.

"Once we begin to see it, I'm sure we've all had that moment when you can begin to see a pattern. If it's with a person or with an organization or with a collective, once you start to see the pattern, we get information." (Lisa Marie, Everything Is Energy podcast, 2026)

Her sequence moves from information to curiosity to experiment. Once a pattern is visible, one can ask about the choices, expectations and beliefs that keep it going. Then one can test a different response. This is a modest, personal method, and it is deliberately so. The change she is describing begins in a single relationship, a single habit or a single assumption that a choice is not available, before it reaches anything larger.

How do the surrounding planetary contacts shape this work?

The station does not arrive alone. Lisa Marie lays out a set of contacts that surround it, each with its own emphasis. Venus retrograde squares Pluto in October, which she associates with relationship patterns, reciprocity, attachment and shared resources. The Taurus Full Moon forms a tight T-square with Pluto later in the month, which brings in security, familiarity and what truly sustains us. The Sun squares Pluto, pointing toward identity, control and the roles we are ready to reconsider. In November, Uranus in Gemini forms an exact trine to Pluto, linked to innovation, technology, community and the potential for meaningful change.

Read together, these contacts sketch an arc. Venus asks what we share and how fairly. The Taurus Moon asks what we rely on for stability. The Sun asks who we are willing to be in the roles we hold. Uranus asks what new forms of connection and invention might become possible once the older structures loosen. Lisa Marie describes the whole sequence as a framework for personal transformation within a changing world, which is a useful lens even for readers who do not work with astrology day to day.

She also looks ahead. Pluto's journey continues through a retrograde shadow exit in February 2027 and its next retrograde station in May 2027. All of her dates use Pacific Time, a detail worth keeping in mind for anyone tracking the transits from elsewhere.

What does participating more consciously look like in practice?

The episode returns repeatedly to a single question: how do we bring what we have learned into the future we are helping to build? Lisa Marie's answer begins with recognizing that we live among others. Individual freedom and shared collective life are not opposites she is willing to accept as given. The patterns we are examining in ourselves are often patterns we share with families, workplaces and communities, and our participation in them matters to everyone else in them.

She does not promise that the process will feel comfortable. In her framing, the feelings that arise when patterns become visible, including grief and frustration, are part of the work rather than signs that something has gone wrong. What she asks is that people stay with those feelings long enough to see what they are protecting and what they might be ready to release.

Where to go from here

If the station has stirred a question for you, start small. Choose a relationship, role or recurring reaction from the past five months and write down what you noticed. Then ask what belief or expectation sustains it, and what a different response might look like in a single, low-stakes instance. Revisit the list when Pluto's next retrograde station arrives in May 2027, and see what has shifted.

To hear the full reasoning, including the parts that go beyond the excerpt covered here, watch the original episode, "Pluto Direct in Aquarius 2026: Becoming Conscious of Our Power," on the Everything Is Energy channel. Lisa Marie also publishes a companion blog post on the same topic at everythingisenergyapothecary.com, and a lunar calendar and journal she produces for following major transits and recording intentions.

[0:01] Hello. Welcome to everything is energy.

[0:03] Welcome to a special episode about Pluto

[0:07] stationing direct in the sign of

[0:08] Aquarius. This takes place on October

[0:11] 15th, 2026, and it begins a new phase of

[0:15] a much longer process of transformation.

[0:19] And I want to explore this turning point

[0:21] through a question that sits

[0:24] sort of at the heart of

[0:26] the everything is energy

[0:27] work that I do, and that's, you know,

[0:29] what changes

[0:31] when we become conscious of our power.

[0:34] We can talk about power

[0:36] in terms of institutions and governments

[0:39] and technology or money or influence,

[0:43] and those are absolutely important

[0:45] expressions of it, but

[0:48] as you probably

[0:50] might anticipate, you know, we also

[0:52] encounter power in very personal ways in

[0:55] in our relationships with ourselves and

[0:58] with each other,

[0:59] in what we believe is possible for

[1:02] ourselves and for our world, and in the

[1:05] stories that we tell

[1:07] about ourselves to ourselves, and the

[1:09] stories we tell about each other,

[1:12] in the choices we make, in the moments

[1:14] that maybe we even assume that we don't

[1:16] have a choice.

[1:18] And

[1:19] you know, sometimes we recognize our

[1:21] power through something we initiate,

[1:22] sometimes we discover it when

[1:25] an old way of living becomes difficult

[1:28] to sustain.

[1:30] And we begin to understand that we can

[1:32] absolutely we have the power to respond

[1:35] differently. And this is the territory I

[1:37] want to explore today.

[1:39] You know, Pluto's direct station is

[1:41] accompanied by a series of significant

[1:44] planetary contacts, which I'll cover in

[1:46] this podcast. Retrograde Venus is

[1:48] squaring Pluto in October. The Taurus

[1:51] full moon forms

[1:52] a really pretty tight T-square with

[1:54] Pluto later on in the month this month.

[1:56] And you know, in November, Uranus in

[1:58] Gemini makes another exact trying to

[2:00] Pluto in Aquarius.

[2:02] And together, these alignments really

[2:04] offer, I think, a lovely framework for

[2:07] exploring personal transformation

[2:10] within a a changing, transforming world.

[2:15] Uh you know, so

[2:17] how do we recognize the patterns that

[2:19] we've participated in? How do we work

[2:20] with the feelings that arise when these

[2:23] patterns become visible?

[2:26] And beyond that, how do we bring what

[2:27] we've learned into the future we are

[2:30] helping to create?

[2:33] So, let's begin

[2:34] at the beginning.

[2:36] On October 15th,

[2:38] or the beginning of the content for this

[2:40] podcast.

[2:42] It it Pluto stations direct and it's it

[2:45] happened at approximately 7:40 in the

[2:47] evening

[2:49] last night before I'm recording this on

[2:50] October 15th at 7:40 Pacific time.

[2:54] And it stationed direct at 3° and 4

[2:57] minutes of Aquarius.

[3:00] Let's remember that Pluto has been

[3:01] retrograde since May 6th,

[3:04] when it stationed at 5° and 30 minutes

[3:06] of Aquarius. And over those months,

[3:08] May until

[3:10] now, October, mid-October,

[3:13] its apparent movement has carried it

[3:15] backward through a little more than 2°

[3:18] of the zodiac. And that word apparent is

[3:20] important here because

[3:22] Pluto does not physically stop moving

[3:24] through space or reverse its orbit

[3:26] around the sun. The retrograde motion

[3:27] describes how its position appears to

[3:30] change to the human eye against the

[3:32] background of the stars when we're when

[3:33] we're viewing from Earth.

[3:38] And Earth travels around the sun, we can

[3:40] imagine, we know, much more quickly than

[3:43] Pluto does.

[3:44] And our viewing geometry

[3:47] changes as it's tra as we're traveling

[3:50] around the sun. And Pluto can appear,

[3:52] and does appear to slow, move backward,

[3:55] slow again, and then resume forward

[3:57] movement. And in the station that marks

[4:01] that happens yesterday, right after I'm

[4:04] recording this. It marks that sort of

[4:07] apparent change of direction, and I

[4:09] think this stationing energy is

[4:10] absolutely an exclamation point. It

[4:13] reminds me of

[4:14] steering a big, heavy ship in that

[4:16] moment when all the momentum that was

[4:18] carrying it forward or in one direction

[4:21] has ceased.

[4:23] That in and of itself is a huge moment

[4:26] of transition, and it's going to begin

[4:28] to create momentum in the other

[4:29] direction.

[4:32] And

[4:33] let's also remember that Pluto is

[4:36] now thought of as a dwarf planet.

[4:39] And it

[4:41] it has an orbit of roughly 248 years.

[4:46] Its orbit is elongated and tilted

[4:47] relative to the plane of Earth's orbit,

[4:49] so it spends unequal time moving through

[4:52] different portions of the zodiac.

[4:55] We're working here with the tropical

[4:56] zodiac, the the the seasonal coordinate

[4:59] system used in this podcast and the

[5:01] astrology that I I practice.

[5:04] And 3° describes Pluto's zodiacal

[5:08] longitude within that system.

[5:10] Because Pluto moves so slowly

[5:12] its station actually unfolds over time.

[5:16] It remains close to this degree for

[5:18] weeks, which is why

[5:20] I felt the need to

[5:22] produce a podcast.

[5:25] Compare that to the faster-moving inner

[5:27] planets. They can make contacts to

[5:30] nearly the same position,

[5:32] and

[5:33] and that station happens more quickly.

[5:36] And I think this is pretty relevant for

[5:38] October.

[5:40] Because astrologically Pluto is, as we

[5:42] know, associated with transformation,

[5:45] with going beneath the surface, with

[5:48] power and regeneration and and you know,

[5:50] the things that that live beneath the

[5:53] surface of our awareness.

[5:56] And that can include our fears, our

[5:59] attachments, if we've got any kind of

[6:01] patterning that we might be running on

[6:04] autopilot. It can also include include

[6:08] capacities that we might not have fully

[6:10] accessed or recognized.

[6:12] And maybe there's more

[6:14] resilience and intelligence and depth

[6:17] and

[6:19] ability within us than we've realized.

[6:23] And during a retrograde, we often work

[6:24] with these themes reflectively. Review,

[6:27] revise. We may become more aware of

[6:30] something as if it's an internal pattern

[6:32] or we might return to an experience that

[6:34] we understand differently now. And as

[6:36] Pluto is stationing and turning direct,

[6:39] we're we're going to

[6:40] feel the energy shift.

[6:43] And we're going to be invited

[6:46] energetically

[6:48] to begin considering how

[6:51] that in that awareness of our internal

[6:53] world

[6:54] informs our participation in the

[6:57] external world.

[7:00] And now, I mentioned the station energy

[7:02] is operational for a couple weeks.

[7:05] And Pluto moves super slow, and this is

[7:07] all metaphorical

[7:09] uh astrologic astrological wisdom. So,

[7:14] there's no requirement that, you know,

[7:16] on a specific day at a specific time we

[7:18] achieve clarity, for example.

[7:21] You know, a station is really just a

[7:22] useful time to pause and notice. To look

[7:26] around and to see what's been

[7:28] developing.

[7:30] And if we want to really consider this

[7:32] station, we might even go back to early

[7:34] May when Pluto stationed retrograde

[7:39] and in the beginning. So, so since May

[7:42] till now,

[7:44] you might consider if there if there's

[7:45] anything that's occupied your attention,

[7:48] or if there's

[7:50] some way that you've become conscious

[7:52] about a dynamic involving potentially

[7:54] themes around authority or control or

[7:57] belonging or trust.

[8:00] And

[8:01] maybe there's even an old response that

[8:05] that once protected you, but now limits

[8:07] your choices.

[8:10] And maybe there's something that you've

[8:12] been considering a role you occupy in

[8:14] the community. Maybe there's a discovery

[8:17] about how much your energy goes into

[8:20] anticipating other people's reactions.

[8:22] These are just examples.

[8:24] But the idea here is that we're

[8:26] reflecting on our internal world here

[8:28] from May to till now.

[8:31] And these are all really meaningful

[8:32] places to begin.

[8:35] And at the heart of my work here is this

[8:37] understanding that, you know, my belief,

[8:40] take it or leave it, is that we're

[8:41] powerful creators. We're powerful beyond

[8:45] measure, beyond our current

[8:47] comprehension.

[8:48] And we're not just

[8:50] powerful creators, we're active

[8:53] participants in creating our reality.

[8:56] And for me, this makes this awareness,

[8:58] this activity of Pluto, this stationing

[9:00] retrograde back in May, this stationing

[9:02] direct right now, it makes this this

[9:05] energy, this this

[9:07] this energy of Pluto really

[9:09] really of the moment.

[9:11] Because when we when we consider if

[9:13] there's a pattern or just something

[9:15] that's outside of our awareness, we may

[9:18] even participate in it repeatedly

[9:21] without recognizing what we're doing.

[9:24] And once we begin to see it, I'm sure

[9:27] we've all had that moment when you can

[9:29] begin to see a pattern. If it's with a

[9:31] person or with an organization or

[9:35] with a collective, once you start to see

[9:38] the pattern,

[9:41] you know, we we get information. We can

[9:43] get curious about it.

[9:46] Curious about the the choices and the

[9:48] expectations and the beliefs that might

[9:50] sustain it.

[9:52] And we can begin experimenting with

[9:55] another response.

[9:58] We also live among a collective, right?

[10:02] Other people with their own agency. And

[10:06] you know, we live within circumstances

[10:08] that have that affect what's available

[10:09] to us. And so, becoming conscious of our

[10:11] power includes both

[10:15] our understanding of our influence as

[10:17] well as Pluto would have it be our

[10:19] understanding of of our

[10:22] our limits. And I don't mean limits as

[10:24] in permanent limits, but in a Saturnian

[10:27] sense even.

[10:28] What's present now? The practical

[10:31] question would be like, where do I have

[10:33] a choice now?

[10:36] And let's remember that Aquarius

[10:38] Aquarius is fixed masculine air ruled by

[10:41] Uranus.

[10:43] And it it really brings this inquiry

[10:47] into our relationship with the

[10:49] collective.

[10:52] We explore communities and networks and

[10:54] technology and shared ideals when we're

[10:56] in the sign of Aquarius. Aquarius, its

[11:00] energy is is a radical energy. It wants

[11:03] its freedom to express

[11:06] its views, however outlandish they might

[11:09] seem to the entrenched collective.

[11:14] And the energy of Aquarius absolutely is

[11:17] also about fighting for a cause.

[11:22] And if we if we really think about, you

[11:25] know,

[11:26] considering the relationship between our

[11:28] individuality

[11:29] and our belonging, that is that is also

[11:32] the ilk of Aquarius. Most of us want to

[11:34] belong somewhere. We want connection. We

[11:36] want recognition. We want

[11:38] the experience of participating in

[11:40] something meaningful.

[11:43] But belonging as we might have already

[11:47] lived can become complicated when it

[11:49] depends on us suppressing our own

[11:52] perception.

[11:56] You know, if you've ever

[11:57] remained quiet in a group because

[12:00] you knew

[12:02] that you were expected to stay that way.

[12:05] Or maybe you agreed outwardly while

[12:07] privately felt that something important

[12:09] was being overlooked.

[12:11] That experience can happen within

[12:13] families, within workplaces, within

[12:15] spiritual communities, within a

[12:16] political movement.

[12:18] Pluto and Aquarius offers us a really

[12:21] symbolic lens at this juncture in time

[12:26] through which we can examine the power

[12:29] operating inside our shared collective

[12:33] ideals.

[12:35] And I hope that you can sense that this

[12:36] is especially

[12:38] this is really good medicine for us

[12:40] right now. And this station direct is

[12:44] really inviting us to we're shifting

[12:46] from that internal

[12:48] internal look from May to October, let's

[12:50] remember. And and around this time, this

[12:52] next couple week period and then

[12:54] on into the future, Pluto's going to

[12:56] spend the next 20 years in this sign.

[13:01] We are absolutely at a birthing time and

[13:03] this is a birthing time of

[13:05] for the collective around these themes.

[13:10] You know,

[13:12] if we think about some examples, there

[13:14] might be a community that speaks about

[13:15] freedom while totally discourages

[13:18] disagreement. There might be an

[13:20] organization that celebrates cooperation

[13:22] while leaving the decisions in the hands

[13:24] of a select few people.

[13:27] There might be a group that says they

[13:29] value inclusion and then they overlook

[13:31] the experiences of some of its members.

[13:33] You know, these contradictions just they

[13:35] become useful information when we're

[13:37] willing to examine them.

[13:39] And we can look at how decisions are

[13:41] made, how disagreement is handled, and

[13:44] whether people can participate without

[13:46] surrendering their individuality.

[13:49] And I want to make a note here because

[13:51] this is also relevant that this these

[13:53] questions also apply to technology

[13:56] because

[13:58] technology is another thing that is of

[14:00] the moment. I will be I'm so grateful

[14:03] that I'm going to have a couple podcast

[14:04] guests coming up and we're going to be

[14:05] talking about

[14:07] structures and technology and astrology

[14:10] and things. But, you know, our our our

[14:12] technology, our tools, influence how we

[14:14] communicate, how we find our

[14:16] information,

[14:17] what receives our attention,

[14:19] and

[14:21] whether it's social platforms or

[14:22] artificial intelligence or digital

[14:24] networks, they they they open

[14:26] extraordinary possibilities for learning

[14:28] and collaboration.

[14:30] They also

[14:32] invite us to really remain

[14:35] aware of our power and of the power

[14:39] structures

[14:40] because they can

[14:42] they they they they simultaneously raise

[14:44] questions about influence and access and

[14:46] ownership and dependence.

[14:50] And I find this really relevant

[14:52] to this this theme of becoming conscious

[14:54] of our power.

[14:56] Our attention has consequences.

[15:00] Our consciousness is what creates our

[15:03] world. Everything that is in our world

[15:05] today is here because we have

[15:08] creatively, co-creatively, collectively

[15:13] consciously brought it into being. We

[15:15] are creating tomorrow today.

[15:18] And

[15:20] you know, there's

[15:22] there's creative participation available

[15:24] as we're becoming aware of our power,

[15:26] which is what I think is is really

[15:28] potent and really special and really

[15:30] magical.

[15:32] Because we can we can thoughtfully

[15:36] harness the power of our consciousness.

[15:40] We can choose what we want to help

[15:41] strengthen. We can choose who we want to

[15:44] collaborate with. Those choices matter.

[15:49] And this brings us to Venus. I want to

[15:51] shift now to a a transit that's

[15:54] happening.

[15:55] Uh

[15:56] in my recent episode on on Venus

[15:59] retrograde in Scorpio and Libra, I spoke

[16:00] about revisiting our relationship

[16:03] stories and and looking again at all

[16:06] sorts of relationships. Romantic ones

[16:09] for sure, but friendships, family, our

[16:11] relationship with ourselves, our

[16:12] relationship with communities, and

[16:16] when we consider that we have uh Venus

[16:19] squaring Pluto

[16:22] on October 20th,

[16:24] this is really close to the stationing

[16:27] energy.

[16:28] And I think this really, you know,

[16:29] Pluto's going to come in and and and add

[16:32] another question to that that theme,

[16:34] those themes that we were exploring

[16:35] around Venus, which is how

[16:38] was power operating within those

[16:40] stories, our relationship stories.

[16:44] And so this is happening on

[16:46] Oh, actually it's October 9th. Well, it

[16:48] depends on it whether or not you're

[16:49] Pacific time or other times. It happens

[16:51] on October 19th late in the evening.

[16:54] Venus is squaring Pluto Pluto. My my my

[16:57] bad, but it for Eastern time it's

[16:58] October 20th.

[17:00] And

[17:02] that contact occurs with both planets

[17:04] near 3° of their respective signs. Venus

[17:06] and Pluto

[17:08] Venus and Scorpio, excuse me, Pluto and

[17:10] Aquarius.

[17:12] And let's remember that a square is a

[17:13] 90° angle. It's a 90° relationship

[17:17] between the planets.

[17:19] And astrologically it's considered a

[17:21] challenging aspect because

[17:25] it can

[17:27] bring friction. It can bring competing

[17:29] needs, for example, or a situation that

[17:31] might ask for some adjustment.

[17:35] When we add this this notion that there

[17:37] might be some some

[17:39] need for adjustment, adjustment between

[17:42] what? Well, Venus is about our values,

[17:44] reciprocity, affection, resources,

[17:47] justice, beauty.

[17:50] Pluto is about transformation.

[17:52] Pluto's also about control and

[17:53] attachment. Pluto's absolutely about

[17:56] things beneath the surface.

[17:59] So, perhaps we learn to feel valuable,

[18:01] for example, by by being indispensable

[18:03] or maybe we became skilled at managing

[18:05] everybody else's feelings.

[18:07] Whatever the patterns are, we're talking

[18:08] about relationship patterns here with

[18:10] this this square.

[18:12] Around October 19th and 20th,

[18:15] they

[18:16] they often began, the patterns that we

[18:18] might be recognizing, that might come to

[18:21] enter our awareness through friction.

[18:23] They probably began for an

[18:24] understandable reason.

[18:26] Maybe something happened when we were

[18:28] younger and it was a self-preservation

[18:29] mechanism, for example.

[18:32] And they may have helped us find

[18:33] connection or navigate circumstances

[18:35] with the resources that we had at the

[18:37] time. And And so, we don't have to judge

[18:40] them, but I think what we're being

[18:42] invited to do is see them clearly.

[18:46] And if we see them clearly, then we're

[18:47] able to consider what we want in this

[18:49] moment in time.

[18:51] And this is where I find the idea of

[18:52] co-creation really empowering because we

[18:55] can explore our own part

[18:58] in exchange

[19:02] in an exchange, excuse me,

[19:04] in in a compassionate way.

[19:07] If we're looking at any kind of

[19:08] relationship, was there was there

[19:09] something that we assumed? Was it Was

[19:11] there something that we did or did not

[19:13] communicate?

[19:15] You know,

[19:17] maybe what were we

[19:19] hoping would happen if we kept,

[19:22] for example, giving or waiting or

[19:24] accommodating or remaining silent? Was

[19:26] there a tacit, unspoken agreement or was

[19:29] there just an expectation or an old

[19:31] pattern?

[19:32] And

[19:35] I also just want to know that

[19:36] recognizing our participation doesn't

[19:38] make us responsible for someone else's

[19:39] harmful behavior. It can It can help us

[19:41] identify where a different agreement,

[19:43] response, or boundary is available to us

[19:45] in this moment in time today.

[19:48] Let's also remember [clears throat]

[19:50] that we're talking about relationships,

[19:51] but financial matters are also of the

[19:53] moment when Venus is in play.

[19:56] And

[19:57] Venus being in Scorpio, that brings the

[19:59] notion of shared resources into the

[20:01] conversation that we're we're having

[20:03] right now.

[20:04] So,

[20:05] for example, money can carry

[20:07] expectations with it. Those expectations

[20:10] might be loyalty. It might be

[20:11] obligation. There might be some sort of

[20:13] authority.

[20:15] But maybe also money brings us freedom.

[20:18] And so, a really practical consideration

[20:21] about our contributions or

[20:24] decision-making is it also potentially

[20:27] a foot around this time in October. And

[20:31] the idea here is that it's not that

[20:34] we're going to judge ourselves or judge

[20:36] judge others, excuse me. This is about

[20:38] having a revelation, having a new

[20:40] understanding, getting clarity,

[20:42] potentially on a pattern that is

[20:44] previously

[20:46] gone unnoticed.

[20:49] And

[20:50] clarity can absolutely support trust.

[20:54] Right? Naming an arrangement gives

[20:56] people a chance to participate more

[20:58] consciously within it.

[21:02] Let's move on now to October 25th, since

[21:05] we're still talking about Pluto and it's

[21:09] sort of stationing direct energy. This

[21:12] I'm I'm mentioning all this right now in

[21:14] this particular podcast about Pluto

[21:16] because

[21:18] it's been my experience that we've been

[21:19] we've been if we think about things in

[21:21] our collective that have gone unnoticed,

[21:23] we've been conditioned away from subtle

[21:25] energy. We've been taught to discount it

[21:27] if we can't see it with our own eyes and

[21:29] it doesn't happen quickly, well, it

[21:30] might not come at all. And I find the

[21:32] outer planets super fascinating because

[21:35] they always seem to win and even though

[21:37] it's subtle energy and it goes below the

[21:39] radar of the bulk of the population, the

[21:42] energy is visible and recognizable. And

[21:46] so I wanted to do this podcast to really

[21:48] help us hone in on as Pluto is

[21:51] stationing direct roundabout this time

[21:53] in this few weeks, that means that

[21:55] Pluto's power is amplified. And it's

[21:58] stationing direct forward after a time

[22:00] of review. And so this means that all

[22:03] the aspects that Pluto's going to be

[22:04] making as it's direct energy is is

[22:09] causing it to have an exclamation point

[22:11] about itself are worth

[22:14] considering. So this brings us to the

[22:16] Taurus full moon. I will have a separate

[22:18] podcast all about that and you will hear

[22:21] me mention this aspect, but I want us to

[22:22] consider it here.

[22:24] Because we have this full moon.

[22:27] It's on October 25th. It's about 9:00 in

[22:31] the evening Pacific Daylight Time if

[22:33] memory serves and it's in

[22:37] the early sign of Taurus.

[22:40] Let's also say that some calendar

[22:43] October 26th because

[22:49] 9:00 which is Eastern Time midnight. So

[22:51] it might be 25th or 26th. But this moon

[22:54] in Taurus is going to oppose the sun as

[22:56] full moons do

[22:58] the same degree of Scorpio.

[23:13] >> And because all of these signs are fixed

[23:16] energy, this is a fixed T-square.

[23:19] And it is a fixed T-square if you've

[23:21] heard me talk about when there's

[23:24] energy in a

[23:25] in a configuration in a chart, sometimes

[23:28] there will be a a focal planet, a a

[23:30] through point for the energy. And here

[23:32] in this T-square, the through point, the

[23:34] focal point is Pluto.

[23:37] And

[23:39] you know, let's let's also remember that

[23:40] fixed signs, we have cardinal, fixed,

[23:43] and mutable signs in astrology. And the

[23:45] fixed signs,

[23:47] as it sounds, they bring commitment and

[23:50] persistence and the capacity to sustain

[23:52] something over time.

[23:55] They can also,

[23:58] you know, describe the difficulty of

[24:00] changing an arrangement we've really

[24:02] invested ourselves in it.

[24:05] Let's remember that Taurus doesn't

[24:06] really like change. The moon is in

[24:08] Taurus. Taurus invites us to consider

[24:10] what sustains life, also.

[24:13] Taurus wants us to do this consideration

[24:15] in tangible ways. Taurus is is

[24:16] interested in things like food and

[24:18] shelter and the body and the earth and

[24:20] our resources and the rhythms that help

[24:23] us feel steady.

[24:25] Scorpio,

[24:26] Scorpio's very comfortable with change.

[24:29] Scorpio's going to bring some emotional

[24:30] complexity here. And, you know, themes

[24:33] again of shared resources

[24:35] and

[24:36] the changes that can occur when our

[24:38] lives become intertwined.

[24:40] And with Pluto in Aquarius forming the

[24:42] focal point between that Sun-Moon

[24:44] opposition,

[24:46] our own personal questions of security

[24:49] potentially also meet the larger systems

[24:53] and the communities

[24:55] in our world that we participate in.

[24:58] So, we might ask

[25:01] whether around about this time the

[25:03] question might become palpable, whether

[25:05] the structures supporting us

[25:08] or surrounding us

[25:11] are truly able to evolve with us.

[25:16] If we think about what Pluto was doing

[25:18] in Capricorn, it was shaking down the

[25:19] top-down structures of power, right?

[25:22] And that is on the one hand we can clap

[25:25] our hands and say yay progress. On the

[25:27] other hand, humans are creatures of

[25:29] habit and that can feel really

[25:31] unsettling, right?

[25:32] Sometimes familiarity feels reassuring

[25:34] even when an arrangement has become

[25:37] super inefficient.

[25:39] We know how to function within it. We

[25:41] know what's expected. Changing it

[25:43] introduces uncertainty.

[25:46] And so this full moon is a really cool

[25:48] one. It's going to offer us an

[25:50] opportunity to really

[25:52] take a look carefully

[25:55] to that particular tension.

[25:58] And it's potentially going to help lift

[26:00] us up and out of any

[26:03] human patterning that

[26:06] would have kept us stuck in an old

[26:08] pattern.

[26:10] And so some of the questions are what

[26:11] really is nourishing for us

[26:14] versus what are we doing just cuz it's

[26:16] familiar.

[26:19] And

[26:20] I would also make room for our physical

[26:22] body in this inquiry. You might notice I

[26:25] love noticing the beginning, the middle,

[26:27] and the end of an interaction, of a

[26:29] conversation, of a commitment, or just

[26:32] the time spent in a particular

[26:33] environment. And if you notice the

[26:35] beginning, the middle, and the end

[26:39] those sensations kind of tell you

[26:42] how the energy is flowing. Do you feel

[26:45] uplifted at the end of it?

[26:48] Or do you feel drained?

[26:51] And I think there's a real interesting

[26:54] difference between

[26:57] safety

[26:59] versus

[27:02] fear of change and our energetic

[27:07] coffers, so to speak.

[27:11] And since we're talking about this being

[27:12] subtle energy, this might be an internal

[27:15] realization.

[27:17] This might be a quiet breakthrough.

[27:20] It might be a recognition that we simply

[27:22] need a different schedule or a clearer

[27:23] agreement or

[27:25] it's time to have a conversation that we

[27:27] may have postponed.

[27:30] And

[27:32] I think the change begins to take form

[27:34] through what we do with the recognition.

[27:37] I don't think it's ever really about at

[27:39] this juncture

[27:41] rushing ahead because time is running

[27:44] out. We're not trying to rush through

[27:46] this. We're really trying to stay rooted

[27:49] and open-hearted and to receive and

[27:51] expand in this process of

[27:54] transformation.

[27:56] And this brings me to the next aspect.

[27:58] This happens on October 26th. We have

[28:00] the sun squaring Pluto.

[28:04] And this is going to give us an

[28:05] opportunity to see ourselves more

[28:07] clearly.

[28:09] The full moon and the solar square

[28:11] belong to the same kind of unfolding

[28:12] pattern that I was

[28:14] I mentioned it a little bit. I'll talk

[28:16] about it in the podcast for the full

[28:17] moon, but

[28:19] I think that

[28:23] there's the sun's going to bring our

[28:24] identity, our purpose, our vitality, or

[28:26] our conscious sense of our self into

[28:29] an inquiry. And we might become aware of

[28:31] how strongly we have been identified

[28:34] with, for example, a particular role.

[28:38] So, if we think about a squaring

[28:41] energy,

[28:43] it's it's it's a it's a friction. It's a

[28:45] friction for an awareness, for a real

[28:48] realization, right? And And we're

[28:50] talking about

[28:52] our own existence, our own ego, our own

[28:55] identity, our role. Are we the

[28:57] dependable one, or are we the person and

[28:59] that never asks for help? Are we the one

[29:01] who keeps everybody together?

[29:03] Are we the person who's always right,

[29:04] who's always capable, who's always

[29:06] willing to adapt?

[29:09] And all of those things, those roles

[29:11] have real strength. So do all roles in

[29:13] theory, right? But they can also

[29:16] become too narrow to hold the whole

[29:18] person.

[29:20] What happens when the dependable person

[29:22] needs support?

[29:24] What happens when the peacemaker has a

[29:25] disagreement?

[29:28] What happens when the person who's the

[29:29] expert encounters something they don't

[29:31] know?

[29:33] And I think there's a sense of

[29:34] vulnerability that's kind of

[29:38] blossoming

[29:39] in the collective. And I don't mean it

[29:42] that we need to be scared of it. I think

[29:43] there's a real healing opportunity here.

[29:46] Because

[29:48] we we're we're being invited to

[29:51] invite and allow a more complete version

[29:55] of ourselves

[29:58] into this moment to become visible.

[30:01] And that can feel new, and it can feel

[30:03] scary.

[30:05] And that's okay. It can also bring

[30:07] immense freedom.

[30:10] And it can also bring

[30:12] we all have a role to play. We all have

[30:15] a medicine that we bring to our families

[30:18] and our communities and the collective.

[30:20] And the Sun square Pluto really offers a

[30:23] useful symbolic

[30:25] moment in time

[30:27] around about that time. It does it may

[30:29] doesn't need to absolutely happen on

[30:31] October 26th, but toward the end of

[30:33] October, you know, to consider where our

[30:35] identity has become organized around a

[30:38] particular role.

[30:40] And maybe that role is somehow involving

[30:43] maintaining some control because Pluto's

[30:46] involved, which is why I'm saying that.

[30:49] And maybe the

[30:52] medicine is

[30:54] inviting a more flexible understanding

[30:56] of ourselves.

[30:59] Maybe we can remain committed without

[31:01] knowing every outcome. Maybe we can be

[31:03] valued while expressing limit.

[31:06] Maybe we can contribute meaningfully

[31:08] while also

[31:10] continuing to to learn.

[31:15] And you know, the next major alignment I

[31:17] want to discuss,

[31:19] it takes us into November. It takes us a

[31:21] little bit beyond the the the stationing

[31:23] energy, but it's we're talking about

[31:25] Pluto here and Pluto I wanted to bring

[31:28] this in because it's

[31:30] it's a really lovely one. And this is on

[31:32] November 29th. And this is a

[31:35] a really blessed it's a trine. Uranus is

[31:37] going to

[31:39] be in Gemini and it's going to form an

[31:40] exact trine to Pluto in Aquarius.

[31:44] And a trine

[31:46] is an angle of 120°. In astrology, it's

[31:49] it's it describes the relationship in

[31:50] which

[31:51] the planets have this really wonderful

[31:53] flow of energy. There's this ease

[31:55] between them. I say when I talk about

[31:56] the outer planets in that

[31:58] series of trines and sextiles, they're

[32:01] they're they're all the elders are at

[32:03] the the dinner table and they're just

[32:04] having this wonderful free-flowing

[32:06] conversation. So, that's been happening

[32:09] throughout this year and it just so

[32:11] happens at the end of November that one

[32:13] of those aspects is to the degree, to

[32:17] the minute exact.

[32:20] So, we're going to start to feel this

[32:22] already

[32:23] because these planets move so slow.

[32:25] They're getting closer and closer and

[32:26] closer and closer.

[32:28] And

[32:30] you know, let's also take the big

[32:32] picture. This November context is the

[32:34] second trine in the longer series. The

[32:36] first one

[32:37] started

[32:39] this this summer, excuse me, in July

[32:41] 2026.

[32:43] And this

[32:45] contact is going to continue between

[32:48] Uranus and Pluto through 2028.

[32:52] So, this energy is around us. We're

[32:54] breathing it in, but there are these

[32:56] times where the aspects become exact

[32:59] where, again, just like Pluto stationing

[33:01] retrograde, there's probably more like

[33:03] an exclamation point on the energy.

[33:05] There's an intensity because

[33:07] of the exactitude.

[33:11] And

[33:13] if we think about this being operational

[33:16] throughout 2026, even into 2028, this is

[33:21] this is a really wonderful

[33:24] background energy to have during this

[33:26] time of transformation.

[33:30] So, symbolically, Uranus reminds us that

[33:32] we are the high technology we seek.

[33:34] Uranus is the lightning bolt of change.

[33:36] It brings awakening and disruption,

[33:39] experimentation, and and really the

[33:41] possibility of seeing beyond an

[33:43] established approach.

[33:47] Pluto's going to give that depth,

[33:49] that that transformation,

[33:51] and that that concentration of power.

[33:55] Uranus being in Gemini is going to add

[33:57] the energy of communication and exchange

[33:59] of ideas and learning. Pluto being in

[34:02] Aquarius is going to add this notion of

[34:04] networks and collective organization,

[34:07] and the relationship between our

[34:08] individual freedom and shared collective

[34:11] systems.

[34:13] Together, they're going to give us a

[34:14] really wonderful framework for exploring

[34:16] how a new idea can become a way of

[34:19] living.

[34:22] And when this trine is exact, or maybe,

[34:25] you know, I I'm mentioning it now

[34:26] because I do feel like it's operational

[34:28] even in October because these planets

[34:30] move so slowly. So, we might start to

[34:32] see some type of possibility that may

[34:35] have been difficult to understand or

[34:37] imagine. Or maybe there was something

[34:39] that wasn't so popular as a possibility,

[34:42] but more and more people are going to

[34:43] start to see that it is possible.

[34:47] We might even start to find

[34:48] collaborators in our world, or we might

[34:50] discover a useful tool, or just

[34:52] encounter information that changes

[34:55] the nature of the questions that we were

[34:57] even asking.

[35:00] And when we take this theme to the

[35:01] collective level, we can explore

[35:05] the restructuring of networks and

[35:07] technological development.

[35:10] And at a personal level, I I think we're

[35:12] being again reminded that we are the

[35:15] change, to get back to the theme of this

[35:17] podcast. We are the high technology. Our

[35:20] consciousness creates reality.

[35:23] And now a trying can absolutely

[35:25] facilitate movement.

[35:28] The direction depends on how the

[35:31] capacities that are available to us are

[35:34] implemented.

[35:37] So, if we think about a network, it can

[35:39] support really thoughtful exchange,

[35:41] and it can give us this

[35:44] sense of community and collaboration,

[35:47] or it can also rapidly reinforce some

[35:49] kind of false or unexamined assumption,

[35:52] right? And this is where I think

[35:55] consciousness, our consciousness,

[35:57] conscious engagement engagement, excuse

[35:59] me, is is the medicine.

[36:02] And this notion of how we're feeling

[36:05] energetically, are we feeling excited

[36:07] and fulfilled by this? What are we

[36:08] building? Whose life does it support?

[36:12] Also, what assumptions are carried into

[36:14] the design of what we're building?

[36:18] And maybe even on a personal level, if

[36:19] we're not thinking about big meta

[36:22] projects, you know, what small

[36:24] experiment could help

[36:26] me practice the change I want to make.

[36:29] There's There's tons of ways that we all

[36:31] want to shift and grow and expand in our

[36:33] own lives. Is there some kind of

[36:35] small shift or step?

[36:39] And if we think about

[36:41] an experiment, I I I like this word

[36:44] because it takes the loadedness of

[36:47] commitment to change. It's just a

[36:49] a willingness to shift and look at

[36:51] something differently. A willingness to

[36:54] act differently and as an experiment

[36:57] to notice, to see what happens, to take

[37:00] in the information, to notice.

[37:05] And

[37:06] so let's also notice. I I mentioned that

[37:08] Pluto's going to be in Aquarius for 20

[37:10] years, but the longer arc of this

[37:12] integration,

[37:14] Pluto's going to remain direct through

[37:15] 2027.

[37:17] And then it's going to reach another

[37:19] milestone.

[37:21] And it's going to

[37:23] retrograde once again. I'm probably

[37:25] going to stop talking about that now

[37:26] because I find that we talk too much

[37:28] about way far out in the future, it's a

[37:31] little bit nebulous for us. So,

[37:35] I think I just want to kind of

[37:38] start to bring to

[37:40] a close

[37:42] this notion of becoming conscious of our

[37:44] power.

[37:47] And I invite you to return to your own

[37:48] experience.

[37:50] Let's think back to May.

[37:52] Is there anything that has become more

[37:54] clear for you

[37:56] within this time frame?

[37:59] Or is there a place where maybe you

[38:00] recognized a pattern that you're ready

[38:03] to approach differently?

[38:08] Or maybe even

[38:09] within since May till now you are

[38:11] starting to

[38:14] understand that you have power and

[38:16] influence that maybe you haven't fully

[38:18] acknowledged.

[38:22] And if you're thinking about themes,

[38:24] I also like to instruct folks when we do

[38:27] astrology readings or I teach astrology

[38:30] to look at your own birth chart and to

[38:32] look at the house in which Aquarius sits

[38:36] or occupies within your birth chart.

[38:39] That house is going to be an area of

[38:42] life and that's going to kind of offer a

[38:44] personal context for Pluto's work here.

[38:48] It doesn't mean it's only about themes

[38:49] in that house, but it's really uncanny

[38:51] when we look and help us kind of see

[38:53] what themes might be

[38:55] floating to the surface.

[38:57] So, you just in general, you don't have

[38:59] to have planets, just wherever Aquarius

[39:01] is, what house is Aquarius sitting in?

[39:04] If there are planets or angles,

[39:07] we can also consider that.

[39:10] But I think really just give yourself

[39:11] time with whatever you notice in terms

[39:14] of what has become clearer since May.

[39:18] And I think since Pluto's involved, it's

[39:20] really important for us to give

[39:22] ourselves

[39:24] a little bit of grace here

[39:26] because we're speaking about

[39:28] we're living through times of

[39:29] transformation

[39:31] and I'm speaking about

[39:33] you know,

[39:35] things coming into our awareness,

[39:36] stories that we've been telling that

[39:39] maybe the awareness can feel a little

[39:41] bit uncomfortable cuz it it's the story

[39:43] we've been telling ourselves for a long

[39:45] time.

[39:46] And the things that Pluto can bring up

[39:48] can be grief or frustration

[39:51] or even just the the recognition that we

[39:53] want something different in our lives

[39:55] and in our world.

[39:57] And

[39:59] you know, I think grace is a good word

[40:00] because grace also

[40:02] gives us space for shifting and inviting

[40:08] energies beyond ourselves in. We can we

[40:10] can look back at how much we've learned.

[40:12] We can

[40:14] meet our lives with more experience,

[40:15] with more wisdom than we've had before,

[40:18] we can bring

[40:20] our wisdom into our choices with greater

[40:22] care.

[40:23] And, you know, for me becoming conscious

[40:26] of our power really means recognizing

[40:29] that our participation matters. Our

[40:32] consciousness matters.

[40:35] We're not just one little drop in the

[40:36] bucket.

[40:38] I'm going to lose the quote, but I know

[40:40] that in somewhere in Buddhism the Buddha

[40:42] says that a thousand people a thousand

[40:44] conscious people gather are more

[40:45] powerful than thousands and millions who

[40:49] aren't.

[40:50] Our consciousness matters.

[40:54] And

[40:55] Pluto's direct station really offers us

[40:58] a moment in time to consider how we want

[41:01] to use that power, that influence.

[41:06] Is there something that you want to

[41:08] strengthen in your life?

[41:10] What kind of relationships do you want

[41:12] to participate in?

[41:15] What kind of future do you want your

[41:17] everyday choices to support? These are

[41:19] really living questions. I don't mean to

[41:20] should on anybody by any stretch. I

[41:22] think that these are empowering

[41:26] co-creative questions that I consider

[41:28] myself. And I don't think that we need

[41:30] to strive for perfection here.

[41:33] We're seeking to hone in,

[41:36] to claim more of our power, to realize

[41:38] that our choices and our consciousness

[41:41] and our conversations

[41:42] matter.

[41:45] And

[41:47] you know,

[41:49] since these questions are absolutely

[41:51] alive, we live them for through practice

[41:53] and reflection and and and also just the

[41:55] willingness to keep on learning.

[41:59] With that, I'm going to stop. I'm going

[42:01] to close. And I will say that if you

[42:04] want any support exploring these themes

[42:05] in your chart,

[42:07] you can find info about my astrology

[42:09] readings on my website. I'll put a link.

[42:11] And and if you want a companion for

[42:13] following the lunar cycles and major

[42:15] movements in the year ahead in 2027, I

[42:18] have my Lunar Herbal Alchemy calendar

[42:20] and journal available.

[42:22] And there's space for intentions and

[42:24] reflections and the small changes that

[42:26] are

[42:27] that are unfolding in your life. You can

[42:28] find it as well as the apothecary year,

[42:31] which is a it's companion book on my

[42:33] website. I'll put a link to that as

[42:35] well.

[42:36] Have a blessed week. Have a blessed

[42:39] Pluto station direct. I'm grateful for

[42:41] you. I'm grateful for this community.

[42:44] Bright blessings and tons of love.

Lisa Marie says Pluto stationed direct on October 15, 2026, at approximately 7:40 in the evening Pacific time, at 3°04′ Aquarius. The planet had been retrograde since May 6, when it stationed at 5°30′ Aquarius. Because Pluto moves so slowly, the station's energy is described as lasting for a couple of weeks.
No. Lisa Marie explains that Pluto does not physically reverse its orbit around the sun. Retrograde motion is an apparent effect produced by Earth's faster orbit changing our viewing angle against the background stars.
A station is the point where a planet's apparent motion changes direction. Lisa Marie compares it to steering a large, heavy ship, where the momentum in one direction stops and begins building in the other. In astrology it is treated as a time to pause and notice what has been developing.
In this framing, Pluto's themes of transformation and what lives beneath awareness suggest reviewing fears, attachments, autopilot responses and unused capacities. Lisa Marie points to authority, control, belonging and trust, plus old survival strategies that may now limit choices. She suggests looking back to early May when the retrograde began.
Venus retrograde squares Pluto in October, linked to relationships, reciprocity and shared resources. The Taurus Full Moon forms a tight T-square with Pluto, relating to security and what sustains us, while the Sun squares Pluto for identity and roles. Uranus in Gemini forms an exact trine to Pluto in November, associated with innovation, community and meaningful change.
Lisa Marie describes a sequence of noticing, getting curious, and experimenting. Once a pattern is visible, you can ask what choices, expectations and beliefs keep it in place, then test a different response. She also notes that feelings like grief or frustration are part of this process.
According to the episode, Pluto moves through a retrograde shadow exit in February 2027 and makes its next retrograde station in May 2027. All dates in the discussion use Pacific Time.
