Hannah Anstee is a qualified metabolic health coach who works with neurodivergent women in perimenopause. She describes herself as a burnout reclaimer, a late-discovered AuDHDer and a strategist for cellular energy. Her background is in social work, education and mentoring.
Her approach comes from lived experience. She has spoken of years of chronic fatigue, the brain fog of perimenopause and a nervous system that felt constantly on edge. She also describes CFS, burnout and years spent bed bound before she came to understand her own Cell Danger Response. Learning the science of her mitochondria, and working with her biology rather than against it, changed things for her. Now she helps other women do the same.
For several years Hannah supported women in building sustainable businesses. She noticed how many were succeeding on paper while quietly collapsing at home, and were being told their fatigue was normal. That led her to focus on metabolic health as the foundation for nervous system regulation and clear thinking.
Her work includes a one-off Energy Detective Assessment, a three-month personalised protocol, and metabolic health retreats in Kampot, Cambodia, designed for neurodivergent, perimenopausal women. She does not offer rigid protocols, restrictive regimens or generic wellness advice. Instead she builds pathways around each woman's food preferences, energy capacity and sensory needs. She paces what she shares so that a tired brain is not overwhelmed.
Hannah says her decades in social work and coaching taught her how to hold space through the frustration of chronic fatigue and the hope of finding answers. She maintains regular clinical supervision with a supervisor who specialises in metabolic health. She also writes The Unmasked Woman Substack about life as a late-diagnosed, perimenopausal woman in a neurotypical world.
