À propos de cet événement

Description

Sol Luna Yoga Retreat is a seven-day yoga retreat on Sri Lanka's south coast, hosted at Soul House in Ahangama, Galle. It pairs energising Vinyasa with the stillness of Yin yoga and Yoga Nidra, and it is led by Freya and Marilena. It suits anyone who wants a physical, spiritual and mental reset in a tropical setting, and who would like to find ways to carry a yoga practice beyond the mat and into daily life.

What to Expect

The week moves between two kinds of practice. Vinyasa brings energy and movement, while Yin and Yoga Nidra offer slower, quieter time to settle. Around the classes, the retreat adds yogic philosophy, grounding rituals and a nutrition workshop, so the week covers more than asana. The aim is a holistic approach to wellbeing: how you move, how you rest, how you eat and how you think about your practice.

Together, Freya and Marilena guide the retreat. The programme is designed so that what you explore on the mat has a place to land afterwards, in routines and habits you can take home.

The Setting

Soul House sits in Ahangama on the south coast of Sri Lanka, in the Galle district. The venue has a fully equipped yoga shala, and its kitchen serves nourishing, Ayurvedic-inspired meals. The coast and the surrounding tropical landscape shape the character of the week, giving the retreat an unhurried, outdoor feel that suits both active practice and rest.

Before You Go

The retreat runs for seven days at Soul House, Ahangama. The yoga ranges from dynamic Vinyasa to restorative Yin and Yoga Nidra, so the week offers both lively and gentle sessions. For questions about experience level, what to pack or travel arrangements, it is best to ask the hosts directly before you plan your trip.
