Reiki Heals People & Animals

Reiki Heals People & Animals is a live online Reiki class on Animal Reiki, led by Reiki master teacher Colleen Benelli, coauthor of a book on Animal Reiki. It is offered through Omega's Teachers Studio, with a connection to Rhinebeck, New York. It suits Reiki practitioners, animal lovers and anyone curious about how healing can pass between people, animals and the Earth.

The evening treats Animal Reiki as a sacred exchange. Animals heal us as we heal them, and the class invites participants to remember their place in the circle of life and their connection to the natural world.

What to Expect

The session runs two hours in the evening, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Eastern (4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Pacific), and is held live online. It begins with an introduction to Animal Reiki as a reciprocal practice, then moves into guided Reiki meditations and spiritual explorations. Practical teachings follow, focused on how to apply the material.

A central idea of the class is that many people fear their presence only harms other living beings. Animals, through their unconditional love, offer another view. They remind us of the love within our own humanity, and the class explores how extending that same compassion to ourselves can guide choices that nurture healing for all life.

The workshop closes with a live question-and-answer period led by Colleen Benelli. Participants can bring questions, share experiences and ask about practical applications of what they have learned.

About Colleen Benelli

Colleen Benelli is a Reiki master teacher and a coauthor of a book on Animal Reiki. She is codirector of the Licensed Reiki Master Teacher Program. In this class she draws on her work in Animal Reiki to guide an experiential exploration rather than a purely theoretical talk.

Because the class is online, you can take part from wherever you are. Registered participants also receive on-demand access to the recording, available for several months after the live session, so you can revisit the meditations and teachings or catch up if you cannot attend live.
