Ocean of Devotion Sound Journey

Ocean of Devotion Sound Journey is a sound bath led by Evanston musician Preston Klik at SunAndMoon Yoga in Park Ridge, Illinois. It is a live, meditative evening of sound for anyone who wants to lie back, listen and let the music carry the time, whether you come from a yoga practice, a meditation habit or simple curiosity about sound healing.

What to Expect

The evening begins at 7pm. Preston plays live, and his sound journeys are built from layered, looping instrumentation rather than songs to follow or a lesson to absorb. His instruments include crystal bowls, Ocean Drum, Native American flute, didjeridoo, melodica, wah-tube, rattles and drums. The Ocean of Devotion Sound Journey is one of the programs he offers alongside his OM Gong Experience.

His concerts have been described as both grounding and transcendent, "a healing meditation for some, a psychic music-guided trance-journey for others." That range is worth knowing about. You do not need to arrive with an expectation of what the experience should be. Some listeners settle into a quiet meditative state, while others find the music takes them somewhere more imaginative.
