Ocean of Devotion Sound Journey

The Ocean of Devotion Sound Journey is a live, meditative sound bath led by Evanston, Illinois musician Preston Klik. What to Expect

Preston Klik builds the Ocean of Devotion Sound Journey from live, layered sound. His instruments include melodica, didjeridoo, Ocean Drum, crystal bowls, Native American flute, wah-tube, rattles and drums, with loops used to weave the textures together. His concerts are described as both grounding and transcendent, "a healing meditation for some, a psychic music-guided trance-journey for others." What you take from the evening is left open to you.

About Preston Klik

Preston Klik is a musician who leads live meditative sound journeys from his base in Evanston, Illinois. Besides the Ocean of Devotion Sound Journey, he offers the "OM Gong Experience," and he also gives lessons. His Shamanic Walkabout concerts are known for balancing the grounding with the transcendent.

He and his wife, Emily Klik, met in the garden at Unity Chicago, after the first "Eight:18 - Circus of the Spirit" celebration. They married in Unity's garden gazebo in 2004 and took the name Klik together. Emily often shares Cranio-Sacral Therapy with attendees at his events, though the material does not say whether she will be present at this one.
