Journey Into Power: Lake Como Practice Immersion

Journey Into Power: Lake Como Practice Immersion is a two-day yoga workshop on Lake Como in northern Italy, led by Baron Baptiste and hosted by Arvindaa Yoga. It is the first time Baron Baptiste has taught in Italy, and it is meant for both yoga practitioners and yoga teachers who want to deepen their practice.

The immersion draws on movement, meditation and mindfulness, set in the surroundings of Como. The event is sold out.

What to Expect

Over the two days, Baron Baptiste guides a practice built around three strands: physical movement, meditation and mindfulness. The aim is to give practitioners and teachers room to go further into their own practice, rather than simply attend a class.

The immersion sits within Baron's wider Journey Into Power work, which also includes a certification training for people serious about their yoga practice and committed to improving it. His teaching in this body of work rests on the Organizing Principles of True North Alignment, ideas he has taught to many thousands of people worldwide. The Lake Como weekend offers a way to experience that approach in person, in a small and exclusive format.

About Baron Baptiste

Baron Baptiste is a New York Times bestselling author, entrepreneur, speaker, trainer and podcaster who has spent more than 30 years teaching yoga and personal development. His work centers on helping people step into their capacity to lead themselves and others with purpose.

His parents were pioneers in human potential and holistic health. In 1954 they opened The Golden Chance, San Francisco's first yoga and physical culture center. After Baron moved to Los Angeles in the early 1990s, his power vinyasa classes in Hollywood grew from a few dozen students to over 2,000 a week. He later joined the Philadelphia Eagles coaching staff as Peak Performance Specialist, at the invitation of team owner Jeffrey Lurie.

He took his methodology to a wide audience through QVC, a daily ESPN show, PBS specials, a syndicated radio show and appearances on national television.

The Setting

The immersion takes place at Arvindaa Yoga on Lake Como, in the town of Como, Italy. Arvindaa Yoga hosts the event and welcomes practitioners and teachers to practice together in this lakeside setting.
