À propos de cet événement

Description

"How To Make This Year Happier" is a spiritual workshop on Buddhist meditation and the mind, held at Kadampa Meditation Center San Francisco in the Mission District of San Francisco, California. It is open to everyone, whether you have meditated for years or never sat down to try. The evening is led by Gen Kelsang Choma, resident teacher at the center and the most senior American nun in the New Kadampa Tradition.

What to Expect

The session runs from 7 pm to 8:30 pm on a single Friday evening. It combines practical teachings on the mental causes of lasting contentment with guided meditations drawn from the New Kadampa Tradition of Modern Buddhism. The emphasis is on ideas you can take home and use, looking at how the mind shapes happiness and what we can do about it in everyday life.
