Following your Calling: Discovering Purpose through Inner Listening

Following your Calling: Discovering purpose through Inner Listening is a week-long spiritual workshop at the Park Ecovillage in Findhorn, Scotland, for anyone who senses a direction unfolding in their life and wants room to hear it more clearly. It is offered as one of the Findhorn Foundation's Signature programmes.

What to Expect

The week is built around shared practice and gentle enquiry. Rather than pushing toward answers, it offers space to listen more deeply to the directions already moving in your life and to explore the path of your personal calling. The emphasis is on inner listening, the quiet attention that lets a sense of purpose come into focus in its own time.

You will do this alongside others, in the setting of a living community. The programme runs for eight days, arriving and leaving across a single week, so there is time for the work to settle rather than be rushed.

The Setting

The Park Ecovillage is home to the Findhorn community, which has long been known as a centre for spiritual learning, community living and ecological care. Findhorn is in the north of Scotland, in the United Kingdom. Programmes here are shaped by the place itself: shared life in community and a close relationship with the surrounding land are part of how the Foundation works, and they form the backdrop to a week of reflection like this one.

The material for this workshop does not set prerequisites, so it is open to anyone drawn to the question of calling, whether you are at a crossroads, in a quiet season, or simply curious about what wants to emerge.
