The Easter Retreat 2027 with Delson Armstrong is a residential meditation retreat in San Juan Bautista, California, held each year at Easter and open to people at any level, from a first experience of meditation to a long-established practice. It is taught by three teachers, Delson Armstrong, Cassandra Gearhart, Ph.D., and Adam Eurich, who draw on the Buddhist Dhamma tradition and bring it into a contemporary setting.

The retreat runs nine nights, beginning on a Friday evening at 7:00 PM and ending on a Sunday morning at 8:00 AM.

What to Expect

The teachers bridge the ancient Dhamma lineage with modern contemplative understanding, weaving the Buddha's teachings into the retreat experience itself. About Delson Armstrong

Delson Armstrong is a meditation teacher, Kriya Yoga lineage holder and author. He teaches awakening, the Buddhist jhanas, Kriya Yoga and Tantra. His work is summed up in the phrases "Dharma without Dogma" and "Reboot Your Mind." He describes his place as the meeting point of traditional models of awakening and newer, evidence-based approaches to inner transformation, and he favors practices that work over dogma-based, cookie-cutter solutions.

He calls himself a mirror and a conduit for teachings from the Great Wisdom schools, and says he teaches from direct experience. He asks that people not look for perfection in him as a teacher.

Cassandra Gearhart, Ph.D., and Adam Eurich join Delson Armstrong as the retreat's three dedicated teachers. Together they bring what the organizer describes as a wealth of wisdom, kindness and personal experience to the retreat.

The Setting

The retreat takes place in the rolling countryside of San Juan Bautista, a short drive south of San Francisco. The sanctuary is peaceful and unhurried, a soft place to land, surrounded by quiet nature trails.
