Depth Hypnosis Practitioner Annual Meeting and Minister Ordination (In Person and Live Stream)

The Depth Hypnosis Practitioner Annual Meeting and Minister Ordination is a gathering for the Depth Hypnosis community at the Sacred Stream Center in Berkeley, California. It is offered both in person and by live stream, so practitioners can take part from the East Bay or from anywhere else. It is held on a Sunday morning, as the closing day of the Depth Hypnosis advanced training weekend at the same center.

Depth Hypnosis is a therapeutic model created by Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D., Founding Director of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream. This meeting brings together those who work with the model, and it includes the ordination of ministers within the Sacred Stream community.

What to Expect

The meeting runs from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, three hours in a single morning. It combines the practitioner community's annual business and gathering with the ordination of ministers. The material does not list a detailed program, so the specific order of the morning is best confirmed with the Sacred Stream when you register.

Participation is available in two ways. You can attend in person at the Sacred Stream Center, or you can join the live stream, where the session is taught and held in real time by video conference. After registering, you receive an automatically generated confirmation email with further information. If it does not arrive, check your spam or junk folder.

About Isa Gucciardi

Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D., is the Founding Director of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream, a non-profit school for consciousness studies in Berkeley, California, founded in 2002. She is the creator of Depth Hypnosis and the author of Coming to Peace.

Her path into this work began early. She spent most of her early years in other countries before moving to the United States as a teenager, and she was struck by how little people around her wanted to talk about death. Reading Elisabeth Kübler-Ross's On Death and Dying in the early seventies came as a relief. Years of volunteering in hospice settings, including the Zen Hospice Project, led her to a view she still holds: everyone grieves in their own way, and the most helpful thing is often to sit quietly and offer a non-judgmental space.

The Setting

The in-person gathering takes place at the Sacred Stream Center in Berkeley, California, the home of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream's teaching programs, workshops and ceremonies. Those who cannot travel can follow the same session by live stream from wherever they are.

Before You Go

This is an annual meeting for the Depth Hypnosis practitioner community and its ministers, so it is most relevant to people already trained in or closely connected to the work. The material does not state specific prerequisites, so if you are unsure whether it suits you, ask the Sacred Stream before registering.

Class dates and times at the Sacred Stream can change because of unforeseen circumstances. To make sure you receive their emails, add their address to your trusted sender list when you register.
